Racel8375:
Thanks for the info. Hhhhhmmmm, wonder if she has a thing for Clydes. Clyde Holly was a member of a one hit band called “Biloxi”, that was big in Japan apparently even up into the late 90’s. I wish I could remember when we used to hang out but all my time in Biloxi/Gulfport runs together. Clyde had a studio on Eisenhower Ave. He was a power rock guitarist/lead singer. This is where 3 Doors Down recorded “Kryptonite”. Clyde maintained that he co-wrote it with them.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure her name was Lucinda Williams and they were together for a long time. That would be some weird coincidence if it is a different Lucinda. It corresponds time wise with one of her low key periods. She was reportedly from LA and L.A., seems like she mentioned Lafayette and Lake Charles, too.
Lake Charles is a short commute from Biloxi, like New Orleans. My hunch is its the same Lucinda. She had to be a serious musician to be treated as an equal by Clyde and our mutual friends. I’m sure see emphasized songwriting, as well. Too many parallels going on here. But it could be a coincidence.
Can you find out for me if she knew Clyde Holly from Biloxi and was ever his girlfriend?
Thanks,

Is this Lucinda Williams the same Lucinda that used to be Clyde Holly’s girlfriend down in Biloxi, MS? Clyde died a last year of sleep apnea they say. I used to hang with Clyde and Her now and then down there. If this is the same Lucinda, tell her I said hello and would love to hear from her again.
