Hi stoger,
Sorry I didn’t write anything down, so all I can offer is the tracks I remember, but mostly probably not in the right order.
Second number was Metal Firecracker, and the others included Passionate Kisses, Drunken Angel, Copenhagen, Joy, I Lost It, Overtime, Honey Bee, Those Three Days, Real Live Bleeding Fingers And Broken Guitar Strings, Jailhouse Tears, Essence and Get Right With God.
Maybe somebody else will remember a few more.

Well that’s 7 that she didn’t play in Liverpool – looks like I should have gone to both shows !

Any luck with the list, Martinsh?
Exile beat me to it. Just as well because I didn’t recognise songs I and 3, and had to leave after Passionate Kisses (to catch train home).
The sound may have been great on the front row, but it wasn’t quite so hot on the second row of the circle. Instruments wwere fine, but vocals tended to be overloud / distorted at times (luckily I know most of the words aleady !).
Was disappointed with the audience. I only booked a week ago, and 2nd row of circle wass best I could get, but looking around during the show, I could see better seats unoccupied. Looks like some folks didn’t turn up ? Also, circle didn’t seemed to have filled up since I saw the seating plan when buying my ticket.
Not been to a full Lucinda show before, so don’t know if these comments of hers about the songs are normal or unsual
“there are lots of Greenvilles in the USA, but this song’s about the oen in Mississippi”
“this ones a lot of people’s favourite” (Drunken Angel)
“he tried to keep up with Townes van Zandt – but no-one could keep up with Townes”MartinshParticipant@dwp wrote:
I’ll be at Birmingham Town Hall tonight and am really hoping Lucinda sings Lake Charles – it moves me to tears every time I hear it, her voice wrings so much emotion from the words.

Well did she ? Am hoping she’ll play it at Liverpool tonight – then I can die happy !
MartinshParticipantI was there ! Disagree with the “mediocre” comment in the original review. Mind I disagree with a lot of other things in the review as well (e.g. Mighty Mouse were unlistenable, Elvis impersonating Gram Parsons with Emmylou should surely rate a mention ?).
I thought Lucinda was pretty good but not outstanding. Was glad she did a couple of songs off Car Wheels.
But my girlfriend was totally blown away ! She didn’t really know anything by Lucinda before, but now is huge fan.
MartinshParticipantMust get around to buying this …
MartinshParticipantI will be there !
Will try and give a set list, but may have trouble because I don’t actually have Blessed
