This must have been a first. i.e. to get to see the complete liner notes with lyrics almost a month before the record drops.

Considering Lucinda was a headliner there should have been a concert review complete with setlist.
However I couldn’t find any, so another photo will have to do.

The gal in the hat was identified as Sydney West aka the band’s driver.
I’m sure Prof. stoger can help us to identify the gentleman in the hat behind Lu and the gentleman at the rear behind Butch.

The hrs. and secs. are a little bit off but what the heck.

Indeed, though pretty early on the west coast still. Between my hint and LWJ’s visual, surely we have a winner by now in the one-off guitarist sweepstakes. Further hint: this gentleman’s former band’s name (two words) has the initials of a popular long-running comic strip, and he himself has just released a record with his own new supporting band.

Your hints are great stoger, reminds me of a couple of FF contests. Name Lu’s middle name and name her type of car.
I’ll throw in one more hint.
The guitarists sirname reminds me of a Model “A”.

The usual fine reporting stoger and what a setlist.

can anyone name Lu’s guitarist for the evening? Hint: his initials correspond to a common English-language expletive which cannot be typed without censorship here.

Hint: Here’s a pic of the guitarist.

Lucky you two. I’ve noticed Lafayette that you have won lots of music goodies in your posts. WNKU to name one.
If you are driving to Raleigh that’s about your 8 hr. limit.
“Troubled Man” single acoustic is great. Looks like I’ll have to blow the record budget in September. JM, LU and Pieta.

First, tnt, it’s wonderful to see you posting once again in the FF forum. Last night was one for the books. INCREDIBLE set list, and the horsemen reunited. JOY!

Second, lwj, your memory astounds me. No, it really does. I had told Tom last night I was almost certain our last show together as the Four Horsemen was in Cleveland where Lu co headlined with Amos. I forgot about the AMA award show and showcases.

Technically, our last concert was July 16, 2011 in Cleveland.

The AMA’s were on Oct. 13, 2011. Call it how you see it, tnt. Show or last time we were together?

Random searching for Lu stuff brought me to a great picture of the Four Horsemen + Lucinda in Macon.
Since it’s on a Twitter page connected with FF member Lafayette I’ll let her have the pleasure of linking the pic for all to see here.

Just my 2¢ on the cover art, I would have picked this for the new 2 CD.
Lu looks great in the brown tones complimenting her blonde hair.

ah yes, bittersweet lafayette, as I once lost a CD wallet on a flight which had this Silos record, plus a library copy of Robbie Fulks’ Let’s Kill Saturday Night, including the duet with Lu on “Pretty Little Poison”–aka the body fluids song she sometimes references when introducing “The Night’s Too Long” or “Something About…” from the stage. I have been able to replace neither out-of-print record, sadly.

I did find The Schramms record with “Side of the Road” though some months back, at Antones Records of Austin.

    stoger try these.
From the Silo’s website “Susan Across the Ocean”
    http://www.silos.portmerch.com/stores/product.php?productid=16219&cat=294&page=1

From Amazon “Let’s Kill Saturday Night” ( although this may be difficult as it is a CD R manufactured on demand.)
You can preview “Pretty Little Poison”

The BBC is coming in loud and clear here in Canada.
Great to hear a sampling of the studio versions.
Thanks for posting the link to the broadcast.
