Lu and Stuart were great, well worth staying up late to hear “Protection” backed by a big band.
I was hoping for a little conversation with Lu and Jimmy but Lu’s smile after her performance says it all. Going to be a great album success. I listened to my CD’s before the show.Any way here’s a link bigsubi . Enjoy!!!!

It is a masterpiece. I think she may have pushed the CWOAGR stones from her bed with the release of DWTSMTB. I’m waiting on my copy to be delivered today!
Just picked up my copy this afternoon (bought the 2nd last copy from my record store)
I refrained from listening to the full album stream last week and I refrained from looking at the pdf of the liner notes.Gotta hear and see the real goods.
My double CD will remain unopened until after dinner, then I’ll load it up on my home stereo and crank up the volume.
Hope I can stay awake until 11:35 ET tonight for the Fallon show on NBC TV .Most interesting to see the progression of publicity in 2007 for “West” , to “Little Honey” in 2008 , to “Blessed” in 2011 to earlier this year for the self-titled re-release.
No doubt the progression of social media has brought DWTSMTB to a dizzying height for this release. Congrats to Lu, Tom and all for their ambitious marketing of a great album.lwj

Quite the stage setup for an Indie record store.http://instagram.com/p/tjFm7uH-zB/

LWjettaParticipantQuite the report stoger as usual.
Many businesses, in particular bars / restaurants seem to be in a rush for opening and staff aren’t fully trained..
I waited until your post even though a setlist was posted early Monday a.m. on Setlist FM because I knew yours would be 100% on.
City Winery’s web site-clicking on menu simply states now hiring a chef and kitchen staff. hence no food on Sunday.
You might express your concerns to:GENERAL MANAGER

Usually management appreciates comments from their guests.Keep up the fine reports. ( Any chance you will head to Toronto on Nov. 20th ? )

I originally put it in since I have had a long Lu dry spell and got a little excited.
Nov.11′ in Buffalo (met Lefty) and Mar. 11′ in Toronto (met stoger & Paul from Los Angeles)
Tickets go on sale on Friday at Massey Hall in Toronto. This will be my 3rd time seeing Lucinda at this historic venue.
Will be great to see the KB band as openers.
lwjOf al the places on my bucket list still left to visit, Toronto is near the top. My ex was born there, but we never made the trip.. My mother-in-law also born there referred to it as “Toronna” and I have heard others refer to it as Torono..
I likely will make the trip one of these days and also Montreal.. A dream trip would be to combine a Rolling Stones concert (they LOVE Toronto) and a Lu gig the same week as I was able to pull off in New York late 2012..
It could happen… 😀
If this is your first time catching the KB Band, you are in for a treat.. Nice to see them back on the ticket..
Hope you make it to Toronto/ Montreal Samish.
In the meantime I’m not a facebook member but Lucinda printed a presale password for “Toronna” of STAGE.
It worked folks.
I’ll be in 2nd row right by bassist Mr. Sutton.his is not a ticket. This cannot be used for entry.Ticketmaster Order Number: 44-22276/TOROrder Date: 09/18/2014

WAHOO!! Viv and myself will be planted in the photo pit at Farm Aid during JM’s set, won through a Farm Aid auction.
Pretty sure I saw you two gals about 1 metre from the stage. Lafayette in black complete with cowboy hat, Viv in white.
It was a great webcast, superb quality, no buffering, excellent stage backdrops of farms etc.
I thought Miriam was great especially with her solo after “Small Town”.
Once JM’s set started almost everyone rose from their seats to sway to the music.lwj
LWjettaParticipantC’mon kids sign up for 2015
Back to the music please.

I can confirm that -it was finally officially confirmed yesterday. It will be 9/21 and is the kickoff event for the new City Winery in Nashville. It will be taped by Sirius Radio for a broadcast around street date. I would expect that the set will be heavy on new songs.
