    Excellent reporting stoger and tntracy.
Too bad Track 29’s new facility lacked the acoustics.

Hey, anybody notice a trend in the opening song of the set list ?
    From Gruene Hall(ist set after dinner)-10/07, Billy Bob’s-10/08, St. Louis-10/12, Black Mountain-10/15, St. Petersburg-10/19, and Track 29-10/22.

Why it’s this song compliments of Randy Weeks.

LOVE it! A “burst of pure unadulterated joy” & “a two minute forty second hit of unfiltered serotonin”, indeed! 😀

Thanks for the link LWJ! It is going to be hard to wait nearly 3 months for Voyageur to be released!

    Tom

It’s a wonderful serotonin { It is a well-known contributor to feelings of well-being; it is also known to contribute to happiness.} tune, glad you like it tnt. Yup, I had to look up that word. 😆 Certainly as good a vocabulary as stoger with his alternate word meaning for ferret.

Something’s screwy on pricing of the “Voyageur” CD.
    Amazon US $16.24
Amazon CDN $35.89 -Dollar is virtually at parity. Go figure this one out.

A new single release from the upcoming “Voyageur” album called “Side Car”
    Have a listen.
tnt, I know you like dogs so here is the cover art for a great song.
Looks like Europe gets the CD release tour in 2012 before Eddie’s Attic or Canada.

This was a 7 and 1/2 hour MARATHON to watch live on You Tube last night and early morning today.
    Here was the lineup:

    Neil 5:10 – 5:20…Devendra 5:20 – 5:40…Norah Jones/Little Willies 5:55 – 6:20…BECK 6:35 – 7:05…Santana/Los Invisibles 7:15 – 7:45…EDDIE 7:55 – 8:25…Mumford & Sons 8:45 – 9:15…DAVE & Tim 9:35 – 10:10…Arcade Fire 10:25 – 11:00…NEIL & lots o guests 11:20 – 11:558:15pm (All times PDT)

Pegi Young opened the show with a little background on the School and introducing everyone of the special needs kids backstage by name including their son, Ben. Very touching.
Because of the length of the show, I caught Neil and Pegi’s first 3 songs,Devendra(from Venezuala), Norah Jones, took a looong nap and then Dave Mathews & Tim Reynolds singing Oh Susannah, Arcade Fire at 2:30 a.m. EDT with NEIL joining in singing “Helpless” Have a watch.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smYgk7EWEEs

This was the first ever live webcast for the School and was of superb quality with no buffering.
The only downside which I recified quite quickly by closing the comments and watching in full screen, was the on line tweets from nasty Trolls around the world.
There were quite a few Bridge School videos shown between musicians including a very heart warming one with NEIL and Jeff Tweedy being interviewed by one of the special kids.
All in all, worth staying up for.
You Tube is streaming the entire show again today only.

Here’s the real deal stoger including the set list.
    Review starts like this.

Lucinda Williams hasn’t toured South Florida for as long as I’ve followed her music, which means she hasn’t been down here in at least eight years. For Thursday night’s appearance at a near-capacity Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, the alt-country siren was received with what felt like decades of pent-up enthusiasm.

Here’s a real treat compliments of Wolfgang’s Vault.
The Rolling Thunder Revue from the Palace Theatre, Waterbury, CT 11/11/1975, 39 songs over 2 hours of listening.

    Concert Summary
Other than Bob Dylan’s controversial 1965 and 1966 tours, when he first made the transition into highly amplified electric music on stage, no Dylan tour is more highly regarded than the initial leg of his legendary Rolling Thunder Revue Tour at the tail end of 1975. Occurring directly after the recording sessions for his Desire album and with a huge cast of characters involved in the revue-style concerts, this tour has become a landmark in not only Dylan’s career as a performing musician, but in the careers of all involved. This high-quality recording from Bill Graham’s archive,…
