A review of the concert.
Here is the last paragraph from the article.“It was quite a different crowd from the El Rey show a few years ago. I got the impression a lot of university types were there to see what Miller Williams’s daughter is up to. From our party came reports of a gentleman distinctly chortling over the saltier lyrics, and a woman commenting mid-show to her companion, “I don’t think she’s going to sing any happy songs!”

LWjettaParticipantHey Lafayette, did you just receive this email from Amos?
“We have very exciting news. As The Crow Flies, a six- song collection of previously unreleased material from the Mission Bell sessions will be released on February 14th. However, if you’d like you can pre-order the album now and get access to limited edition tee’s, signed posters and 10in LPs only”.
Looks like a great add on to my copy of Mission Bell.cover-as-the-crow-flies-240.jpg[/attachment:cwizd2xn]

LWjettaParticipantFor the Eastern leg of the HB’s tour a rocking band-Hacienda out of San Antonio, TX will be the opener.
For me I’m looking forward to their show in Toronto on Feb. 20th at the long established Horseshoe Tavern. They are located in a 150 year old building.
Look at their artist’s remuneration policy from their website.By the way, usually, 100% of the door actually goes to the artists and musicians playing…So please support them….
Here’s the Horseshoe’s logo.Horseshoe Tavern logo.JPG[/attachment:27vttt3l]
I’m going to wait and purchase the new “Arrow” album at the venue and maybe get it autographed by Erika.LWjettaParticipantGreat reports everyone, looks like a great evening.
Final song of the evening Grammy winner “Get Right With God” was a mere 4:16 min. in its original version.
How about a nine minute jam session version with Sara and Sean.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXZTmL7bcGQMost are probably aware Blake is producing Sara’s new album and Sara will be joining Lucinda on the Cayamo cruise soon.
Have a look and listen inside the studio to the recording sessions of Sara, Sean and Blake.

LWjettaParticipantA Blessed “Happy Birthday” to you Lu.
Can’t think of a better way to celebrate the end of a great mini tour with Blake -having sold out shows back to back.LWjettaParticipantThe studio version of “Parted Ways” in black and white from their new album.
From the songs I’ve heard so far from “Arrow”, Erika’s strong vocals just may surpass “The Mountain.

LWjettaParticipantBut I wish someone would remind me next trip to ask the personnel at the Hertz rental counter in downtown Sacramento about the add-on amenity of tire chains.
Hey stoger, can you give us a brief synopsis of the I 80 road condition to Tahoe?
Did you and the new “English” have to chain up?
Was there a late start to the concert? Thanks again for your colorful reports.
And here’s a review of the show.

Right as rain, tony, though it may be Wednesday afternoon before I can post. Word on the street is that grumpymama is southbound, in real time.
While we wait for stoger to wake up, let’s watch.
