Huh, I’ve never seen that before on my Mac or my PC, but I use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for my browsers. Which browser are you using, LWJ? Internet Explorer?
Tom
Internet Explorer. I also tried this at work this a. m. and got the same message.
Maybe there is some kind of security setting in my browser ?
I only get it for links to You Tube.
Maybe I’ll try Google Chrome.lwj

Help! I’m solid for that morning-after Sabbath breakfast buffet and strongly considering a private jet from Austin to get to the Friday fish fry, but I see no link for Lu tickets. . . .
This is going to leave Billy Bob’s in the dust.

After getting back from Australia there will be a couple shows at the end of April. Although they have not yet been officially announced yet, Lucinda will be appearing 4/27 at the Wine & Food festival in Austin and 4/28 in Phoenix at Cave Creek.
Also, on 4/20 she will be appearing as part of a very special Austin City Limits tribute show for Johnny Cash’s 80th birthday celebration. It will be an amazing lineup of artists. More details soon.
Most likely these will be the only shows in the first half of the year.
Gotta love this short promo video for 4/28 @Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek,AZ entitled “Chicks With Picks”
Tickets on sale tomorrow.

LWjettaParticipantA preview telephone interview article with Lucinda from Beat Magazine re: her 2 shows at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia early next month.
http://www.beat.com.au/music/lucinda-williamsHere’s an interesting excerpt from the above.
Quote”
Held in the picturesque surrounds of Byron Bay and over five big days, this year’s Bluesfest will feature the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Pogues, Earth Wind & Fire, and even a performance form legendary Aussie pub rockers Cold Chisel. It’s no wonder Williams is counting down the days until she touches down. “We arrive on March 29,” she informs me. “We’re going to have a little bit of downtime, just for a couple of days before we start. We’re really looking forward to it.” For this run of shows, Williams will be accompanied by her full band plus a few extra additions. “I’m bringing the band out. For this tour we have The Wallflowers guitarist Stuart Mathis coming out with us. So he’s real excited about that.”
End Quote”I wonder who will comprise the few extra additions.
Also in the article, Lu has “lost / missplaced” one of her Grammys.

Hi All,
I found this forum while trying to find some info on Amos Lee (I’m a huge fan). I enjoy Lucinda’s music as well and have seen her open for both Neil and Levon, and I saw her at the Bridge Benefit in 2010.
I was at the Amos show in Toronto last October. I just want to add to the setlist that during the story about playing for Musicians on Call Amos played Bill Withers’ Lovely Day which was a great treat.
I’m wondering if anyone collects/trades Amos shows? I’m looking to trade for videos and have some stuff to offer in trade. I’m looking for any footage that I can get. If you have or know where to look, please feel free to email me at hornsbytree@hotmail.com – I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Mike
Yes, the Toronto show was great Mike as I reported earlier. I forgot about the Bill Withers song.
Here’s a site I just found.
It’s called Jukebox from Paris France and has a great 20 clip collection of Amos videos.(Some but not all are You Tubes.)http://www.jukebo.fr/amos-lee
By the way, “Super Amos Fan” Lafayette in this forum got me introduced to Amos’ music.

Great, thanks for posting coffee4throad.
As an aside I had the pleasure to attend the outdoor tribute concert for Leonard at Place des Arts in Montreal, June 2008 for the Jazz Festival.
Also, I really enjoyed Leonard’s son Adam’s music on the festival stage. He is now announcing a US tour and his new CD “Like A Man” will finally be available in the US on April 3rd. I bought it last October in Canada.
