Ah, yes, lwj, I had my eye on that show when it was announced months ago. I passed, wondering if our Bearcats would be playing a Bowl Game this year. I think we won’t be making the trip to Miami with Saturday’s loss to Rutgers.

With the band are in the studio -just finished This Old Guitar for a John Denver tribute record -really came out beautiful. Now for something completely different- about to record a new version of Joy for the upcoming West Memphis 3 soundtrack. Almost ready to go -sounding really nasty if i may say so.

LWjettaParticipantFrom the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
The other night, a Dakota Jazz Club patron asked proprietor Lowell Pickett what his favorite show there was. Pickett rattled off a list of shows, including Lucinda Williams. In fact, he’s so fond of Williams that he’s extended her return engagement this winter by two gigs. The Dakota has announced Williams shows for Feb. 4 and 6. Previously announced were her performances for Feb. 1 and 2. She is expected to be accompanied by a guitarist as opposed to solo, which was the case for three intimate nights in February 2011
