LWjettaParticipant
My favorite in the translation is :
The heart of
Pettibone firing a joyful blowtorch solo in the title track from career highlight “Essence” (2001) before the main set closes with a cash “Changed the Locks”.a cash ????
We’ll have more fun with the Google translator before this tour is over.

Chamber Concerto for broken hearts is the review’s title.I think I got The Google translator to function Tom.
There is a full set list on the left hand side for Lafayette to enter into Setlist FMhttp://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fgaffa.dk%2Fanmeldelse%2F72612

LWjettaParticipantFound 2 items so far Lafayette.
A writers blog.
Doug P. was the bad boy of course in Jailhouse Tears.
The writer comments that a 1/2 full house might have been due to high ticket prices and a National Holiday in Norway.
Here is the full report.http://artistpicturesblog.com/2013/05/19/lucinda-williams-in-oslo/
And, here is a nice photo stream from the Rockefeller Music Hall.

LWjettaParticipantCan’t find any reviews yet either from the local paper “The Argus” or the “Guardian”.
However, in addition to bigsubi’s post of a short version of You Tube “Essence” under the Belfast thread, there are 3 other You Tubes so far.
“Blue”-my alltime favorite and probably dr winston oboogies as well. Video is not the full song.
“Fruits of my Labor”
“Copenhagen”(-Lu pronounces it correctly of course ) and is another favorite of mine. It’s a given she will have this on the list for May 20So let’s watch Blue & Copenhagen.

LWjettaParticipantA great review from Culture.
Between this article, new FF member kaiboy and You Tube 14 songs were reported and are:Passionate Kisses, River Man,Crescent City, Drunken Angel, Joy, Honey Bee, Seeing Black, Get Right with God, Blue, Changed the locks, Can’t Let Go, Bitter Memory, Hard Time Killing Floor Blues and Stop Breaking Down Blues. (Robert Johnson).
6 You tubes are now on:
Seeing Black, River Man (already posted by Lafayette), Drunken Angel (already posted by moi ), Joy, Honey Bee and Crescent City. Here is the article.
An important quote.or as tonyg said ” A Major News Bulletin ““The remainder of the set is a mixture of crowd favourites sprinkled with a few new songs. The notoriously slow-working Williams has been recording with renowned producer Joe Henry on a new album, due out later this year, and she’s keen to try some of the songs out in a live arena. ‘They’ll be better once we learn them a bit,’ she laughs”

And here’s Crescent City to enjoy.( Lu’s voice is tip top.)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyAKhRAKvdc

LWjettaParticipantSeems Mr. Sutton stole the show in Dublin.
An excerpt from a review.Williams has an easy rapport with the clearly adoring crowd and tonight’s gig is a low key joy, anecdotal and musically first rate. Sutton switches between electric and double bass throughout, and his harmonious basslines are the underlying triumph of the night. Pettigrew is certainly no slouch either, whether it’s tearing apart a solo, picking out some folk-style mandolin, or teasing out those peals of lapsteel guitar on top of Williams’ rhythmic strumming. It’s a gig that imperceptibly gains in energy, no doubt in part down to Williams’ mid-gig electric embargo, a game-changer that could have thrown things off balance but here only seems to instil more fervour in the players. Hats off to you Lucinda, and remind us never to get on your bad side.
