I think option two, a tour manager’s “stroll” through the venue, would be the LEAST imaginable to me, lwj. But this should be a fun upshot. Bet the band could do “Free Bird” too if so requested.

stoger, I’m in the crowd somewhere at Lynyrd’s concert in Lewiston, NY July, 2011. ( 11 1/2 minutes including the chirping birds ) {Lu has had the bird experience on Squidbillies} 😀

Or Lu could also do MacArthur Park.
This one two weeks ago features Jimmy Webb on piano in MacArthur Park, LA where the inspiration came for the song.
Here we go at 14 minutes
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNmNbIev94s
Or Donna Summer’s disco version comes in at 15 minutes.
Whatever, this would be equivalent to Blue, Essence plus Rarity in total time. 😆

Should be a fun evenng for all.

Hi, my 1st post here 🙂 Great show in Edinburgh last night, Linda and the band seemed to have a great time as well! Was the show being recorded? Mics both side of stage and on sounddesk? Didn’t take notes for setlist, sorry 🙄 She did say it was 1st time they’d played a new song, from a new movie on The Lone Ranger, “Everything but the Truth”
    cheers

Thanks for reporting one eye dog.
I’ve heard the new song and it should be added to Lucinda’s next album.

Meanwhile, here’s ” Hard Time Killin’ Floor Blues” on video.

Well, here we have Angela playing on the saw from NXNE in Toronto on June 13th. ( The show I didn’t attend as it was only a 40 minute set starting at midnight.)
I see from her schedule they play almost daily in Ohio and sometimes 2 or 3 shows in one day.
I’m hoping she can venture further North to say Sandusky or Cleveland sometime as that would be an easy drive for me.
    Enjoy the video.

and at approx 10:23 sadly it was all over in what seemed like a flash, but I though to myself, do not be sad because it is over, but be happy because it happened, I hope I have not missed anything out as I am reading from my notes which were hastily scribbled in the darkness

    How true dr. I concur.
Outstanding reporting and setlist. I looked back at Lu’s appearance at the Southern Fried in Perth August 2009 and see the same enthusiasm from your writing, not to mention you got to meet Tom O, stoger and Paul.
I’ll have to get to Perthshire County some day.

So, we hope to hear again from you at the Queen’s Hall tomorrow.

A very comprehensive review and pics as translated by Google.

So much for the translation-Gender Error- Lu is referred in the masculine.
Also included is the original set list as compared to the actual.

Super fast set list reporting paul many thanks. -Reminds me of the same rapidity from you getting things online in Toronto when I met you for the Lu / Levon double bill.

How was the crowd at the Barbican -“A full House” perhaps.
