I wished I hadn’t seen your thread on the Heartless Bastards Lefty.

Now I’ve gone out and searched their music for the first time and saw them on Letterman last week.
Just bought their new CD “The Mountain”- Love it.

And I just spent $23.00 from Live Nation on a ticket to see Erika and the group performing in Detroit on April ist. appearing with The Gaslight at St. Andrews Hall. Any info on the Gaslight?

Again Lefty, you are even costing me more $ as Detroit is about a 4 hour drive from where I live in Ontario near Niagara Falls-hotel bill plus 1/2 day off work.

Erika sounds a bit like Janis joplin to me.-a real throaty sound.

Glad to have you moderating Lu’s forum.

Thanks Lefty and TO for the Rochester confirmation for 3/14/09.

Ordering my tickets tonight for the Harro East Ballroom gig.

I looked at their web-site for a picture of their facilities.

Looks perfect for Buick 6 and Lu before they head off “down under”

Thank you from a Canadian fan eh!

p.s. Should I bring an umbrella? ( just kidding )

Happy New Year Inside Job & Lu

Is Rochester, NY confirmed yet for 3/14/08?

Hope so , I’m about a 2 hr drive from there in Ontario.

    Thanks

It took another week here in Canada to finally arrive today at Best Buy.

I just finished showing this jewel at my neighbors on their new big screen LCD during a great BBQ meal.

Later, I’ll treat them to the 1989 ACL DVD.

Anyway, tntracy and others in this forum have aptly described the DVD including “Juke”‘s harmonica playing from tracks 12 thru 15 One of my favorites was Disgusted.

A second choice was Passionate Kisses although lacking the famous “wrong key” start last year in NYC which to me was priceless.

I note in the DVD case that New West Records and Austin City Limits thank, among many others Tom Overby, Rosemary Carroll, etc. Does this mean “Inside Job” played a big role in getting ACL to finally release this treasure after 19 years? If so, thanks Tom on Lu’s 30th anniversary in the “biz”

I’m a fairly “newbie” to this forum but have been fortunate to see Lu and Buick 6 three times in 08 and twice in 07.

Please return to Canada in 09.

Thanks for a great forum with Management being so involved and as your 08 tour is now ending, have a great rest.

I agree with swisskris and others. I can’t download this from Amazon US-not available in Canada eh?
I can get the lower sample rate downloads from i Tunes Canada but I only prefer to listen to Lu in the highest audio quality possible.

I’ll wait seeing Inside Job’s reply that I’ll work on it.

    Thanks.

Absolute BRAVO reply to Tom for your comments.

I’ve seen Lucinda 4 times now-the last at the Ottawa Blues Fest in early July and she is the best.

I know her band supports her 1,000%

You are a lucky man to be linked up with a real pro.
