Tntracy;
How was Laura’s ( pregnant? ) gig last night at the Star Bar?
I’ve checked out her music and I like.
Being Canadian, I saw that she played Vancouver last December.
Here is a neat ( underwater ) interview article on Laura from Vancouver.

Roseanne Cash with Special Guests Bruce Cockburn and Lucinda Williams
And here is the set list.
This is a fine audio rip from an Austin City Limits VHS tape I taped back in 1992. 3 of my favorite artists, Rosanne Cash, Lucinda Williams, Bruce Cockburn, perform together and solo. Beautiful show. Cool guitars and awesome vocals by all. If you’re a fan of any of these artists down load this. As a bonus is some tasty Mary Chapin Carpenter from TNN, From a great now defunct show called The American Music Shop, Circa 1992.

She & Gurf make an awesome duo –
a nice compliment to a really cool song.I wonder if Gurf’s beer bottle is 1/2 full or 1/2 empty.
Great music.

A few days after that she also sang harmony on a song for Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, which is her longtime friend Colin Linden’s side band.

· View Paul Cantin’s blogA couple of days ago, I posted video of overdubbing sessions for Blackie & The Rodeo Kings’ long-planned album of duets, Kings & Queens. The clip showed overdubbing for an Emmylou Harris track, but the full range of who will be appearing on the record has been hush-hush until recently, when the band’s Facebook profile provided details. So according to a photo gallery posted on the website, here’s who sits in with Blackie & Co., and the titles of the songs they’ve contributed.
LUCINDA WILLIAMS sings IF I CAN’T HAVE YOU
AMY HELM sings I’M STILL LOVING YOU
CASSANDRA WILSON sings GOLDEN SORROW
EMMYLOU HARRIS sings STEP AWAY
HOLLY COLE sings BRAVE
ROSANNE CASH sings I’VE GOT YOU COVERED
MARY MARGRET O’HARA sings HEART A MINE
SAM PHILLIPS sings LOVE LAY ME DOWN
SERENA RYDER sings BLACK SHEEP
PAM TILLIS sings MY TOWN IS GONELWjettaParticipantAdding one more of Serena’s songs from last year.
Here she is covering Leonard Cohen’s “Sisters of Mercy”
Great performance.LWjettaParticipantBeautiful ending to a great evening.
LWjettaParticipantBob Dylan “Wow”.
Probably the best live webcast I’ve ever seen.
Thanks, Lafayette for the heads up. The blast from JM’s e-mail.
I would never have known about this.
Glad the impending “snowmaggetin” (sp?) didn’t stop the concert.
