I’ll have to change my photo ID. 😆
Glad everyone is enjoying this tour.

    A B&W photo.

Far right ( not front and centre) with the T shirt, and also far right in the first image I posted surrounded by gals. Lucky you.

Great set list, It’s such a treat to have very timely on the scene reports from you stoger.

Must be you front and centre.

Also, re:song # 8 “It’s Gonna Rain”, a song with the same title is on Amy Cook’s album “Summer Skin”
Here she is from 2012 opening for Lu. What a coincidence.

Love the side stories in your reports, tnt.
Sounds like a great time in Macon.

Since Lafayette is probably still on the road back to Ohio, I believe the last time “The Four Horsemen” met was at the Ryman in October, 2011 for Lu’s lifetime achievement award.
Maybe some day I’ll join the group as I have already had the pleasure of meeting stoger and Lafayette.

Did you give the possum a proper burial ? 😆

Just got home from the second Atlanta show after attending both – awesome, awesome shows. It had been 1-1/2 years since I had seen Lu perform live (a personal “worst” dry spell for me since I started following her 12 or so years ago), so I was desparate for a fix… 😮 😉

    Tom

Great to have you back Tom, missed your humour and musical knowledge.
My “dry spell” is now 2-1/2 years (Buffalo, NY in November ’11), but good news may be on the horizon.
I saw a posting on Lu’s facebook that November ’14 calls for a return to Toronto.

    Enjoy the Macon gig.

Just another Memorial Day rant while the bus is enroute to Atlanta.
One of my favorite channels on Sirius XM is 60 to hear Lu while on the road, along with KCRW in LA.when I’m at home.
Maybe a DJ from Sirius wrote the Clearwater article.

    Outlaw Country’s bio:

    What You’ll Hear
Renegades, rebels, rabble rousers and rogues

    Artists You’ll Hear
Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Dwight Yoakam, Hank Williams Jr., Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers, Old 97s

    The website:

Also Lu’s running mate from Blackberry Farm, Ms. Elizabeth Cook has a daily show on this channel.
So have a happy holiday today.

    Alternate Roots Boston.
Details Category: ‘EP’ THE EXTENDED PLAY SESSIONS Written by Danny
The tires hum as Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons cruise over to Boston, and Alt Root Studios across the back roads of Ohio, specifically Athens County. Angela is hitting our studio to film tunes from her most recent album, Hey Kid, for Extended Play. Hey Kid might just be the gold standard for roots rock’n’roll as Angela’s voice curls around the power of the playing. She teases in her delivery, waiting a beat, to drop bombs by the way of one-liners, winks and promises. Hey Kid is the first full length album from Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons following four EP’s since forming in 2009. The Howlin’ Moons explode out of the speakers with a barely contained ferocity tamed by Angela Perley’s smoother seduction.
The Alternate Root is pleased to host a special night of filming featuring Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Doors are at 6PM and you can be included by contacting us via e-mail through studioconcertseries@gmail.com.
Located just 25 minutes from downtown Boston and minutes off of I-95 and Rt. 1, Alternate Root TV Studios is a unique place to see top nationally touring artists in an intimate setting. With cabaret style seating for just 44 people, no seat is more than 25 feet from the stage. Food and beverages are complimentary and there is ample free parking just steps from the studio. Seating is reserved for guests on an invitation only, first come first served basis. It is an opportunity to see artists up-close and personal and interact with them. They are here filming our television series and you can be part of it.

How about this one Lafayette ?

Hold it guys! Lucinda has not been to Toronto since “Car wheels on a gravel road”. I think it is our turn…. Haha!
    May 20 at 10:27am

Lucinda Williams (Lucinda mgmt) Planning on being there this fall. And she has been there several times since CWOAGR but not since 2011

    Right on.

stoger let’s meet again at Fran’s across from Massey Hall. That’s the place where we called Lafayette to tell her we just got “Blessed” 😆

Hot on stage like the Tallahassee weather ( approx 95F), especially Stu’s riffs.

    Enjoy.

FC356 and stoger, fine reporting, thank you.
Quite the honor for Lu to receive a 2nd City key, wasn’t the first one in California somewhere ?

Anyway stoger great that you can re-connect with Mr. Tracy in Atlanta.
    Have fun Road Warrior.
