I scoped out their website when I was thinking about going up there. Looks like an interesting place.

Los Lobos stay there (see http://www.amazon.com/Los-Lobos-Live-At-Fillmore/dp/B0006693YC)…..I’ve stayed there many times.

I’ll be taking Friday off and heading for the Gruene Hall and DFW shows. WIll there be a presale? When will tickets be available?

Most excellent: I have a room at the walking-distance trusty Hotel Kabuki in Japantown for the Fillmore pair as well. (I’ll be calling in sick from S.F. Monday morning.)

I’d sure like another NYE show similar to the last one.

Anyone who has tried to play with crummy monitors will understand what
Lucinda was dealing with tonight. Crazy things can happen between soundcheck
and showtime. I am not sold on in-ear monitors.
    The show was great nonetheless.
I’m hitting the links early as well.

Muy buenas noches a todos, y muchas gracias por el buen show, Lucinda.

Yes, I remember that….they said that they paid so much for Lakers tickets and that they were going to charge more. I remember Rolling Stone’s lamenting that they were now charging a buck a song.

I like what Mojo Nixon called them on Outlaw Country, The Country Monkees.
(On a similar note Bill Kirchen calls The Monkees The Prefab Four. Bassist Will Lee’s Beatley side project is called The Fab Faux.)

I have paid a small fortune seeing McCartney 11 times, but he’s worth it. His recent shows in Montréal were stellar.
Lucinda is one of the handful of acts I would pay the big bucks for. I’ve paid three figures twice this year. Tomorrow is free, so that’s nice.

I believe this was the proposed site for a much-needed major airport for the Southland that was fiercely fought against by locals and cancelled. It already has the runways, but the noise would affect property values and quality of life.

I finally read the review of this show. The comments section after the article was not too kind to LW.

Some people just love to complain. Check out the mutants on McCartney’s official site’s forum.

I’m going…….how long will the set be, you think?
This will be my 4th show this year…..Viper Room, Seattle, Boise. The Portland and B.C. shows I had to miss.

I tried with the password and it said unavailable, and now presale is over. Regular sale starts at 8 tomorrow…I’ll give that a shot. Wish me luck!
