    Could it be this?

Not 100% sure, but I think Donnie Herron has played this on occasion while touring with Dylan. All of the above submitted by a non-musician!

Imus and Karmazin go back a ways. Never say never about a future deal. (Not that I’m in favor of it.)

From the April 23rd issue of New York magazine:

Near the end of the broadcast last Wednesday, Imus played a song by Lucinda Williams, a sweet throwback to his days as a disc jockey, when his life was a lot simpler. Before playing the song, he asked, in a plaintive voice, “Where are you, baby?” As the words to “Are You Alright?” filled the studio at MSNBC, Don put on his sunglasses and sat there, taking in the song before taking his leave.

Interesting (to me) that Lu unwittingly provided the soundtrack for Imus’s death scene. I’ve lost track of this story…has Imus signed the satellite radio deal yet with Mel Karmazin? 😉

Imus stepped way over the line. No excuses; merely stupidity. He’ll make amends and try to pay penance, and those who don’t like him will continue to not like him. He’ll continue to help kids with cancer and wounded Iraqi war vets, among other causes, whether he’s on the air or not.

Prepare to be blown away by Lucinda Williams

    Lucinda Williams

    Published: Friday, 03/30/07

Every Lucinda Williams show is worth seeing. There was the one at the outdoor festival, with a stunning band and the version of “Pineola” that blew us all away. There was the one at the Ryman, with a different stunning band and a wealth of great songs and a sincerity of emotion that blew us all away. There was the one last year at Belcourt Theatre, with her father, the legendary poet Miller Williams. At that one, the daughter’s music felt like poetry, and the father’s poetry rang like music.

Tonight, Williams is back in town, this time for another engagement at the Ryman (116 Fifth Ave. N., 458-8700), Nashville’s most beloved and historic music venue. Her bag of songs has expanded to include the tunes from newly issued album West, another stout
addition to her stout catalog. Williams is absolutely one of our most compelling songwriters, and her voice is a bluesy treasure. Tonight’s show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $27.50 and $32.50 through Ticketmaster (255-9600).
