ParticipantAccording to the Harvard Business School (no, I’m not a graduate, but I did take a couple of night classes at Harvey’s Business School):
“On average, male Twitter users have 15% more followers than female Twitter users. The most ‘prolific’ Twitter users account for more than 90% of all tweets.”

Participanthttp://www.citybeat.com/cincinnati/blog-843-heartless-bastards-stay-busy-go-country.html
As if touring with Jenny Lewis, The Decemberists and The Avett Brothers (plus doing shows with Andrew Bird and Wilco and playing just about every big summer music fest out there) wasn’t enough, Cincinnati-bred Heartless Bastards have been working on new country material. HB singer/songwriter/guitarist Erika Wennerstrom and Alex Mass of psych-rockers The Black Angels have teamed up for a side-project called Sweet Tea (Bastards Jesse Ebaugh and Dave Colvin also lend a hand), performing classic country songs (you know, before Garth Brooks and Shania Twain ruined it all).
Sweet Tea will have its debut recordings β Tim Hardin’s “If I Were A Carpenter” (done Johnny and June Cash-style β via Lou Reed and Nico) and Ray Price’s “Crazy Arms” β released to digital outlets later this month; a white vinyl 7-inch version is due later this summer.
Mass also joined the Bastards during the recent taping of their Austin City Limits TV appearance and did “Carpenter” with them. While there is still no air date yet for the show, it has been revealed that the group will share the hour-long show with a set from the legendary Sonic Youth. – – β β β 8)
