Happy Friday!
Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black) : Farm Aid 2003. My first Farm Aid show.
LafayetteParticipantI voted a few days ago and just voted again! My votes seemed to go thru. Perhaps it’s a once a day thing…
LafayetteParticipant~Disco Stu…good to see you’re still checking in. Would have been grand to see you once again!
LafayetteParticipantThis song is one of my favorites, especially solo acoustic. That recording is excellent! Thanks, lwj. The title of the song is incorrect, however.
“Together” was written after Mike received an invitation to play the National Alliance To End Homelessness at the Kennedy Center back in 2000.

That song can be found on this record, a very Delta New Orleans-esque rock blues recording.

LafayetteParticipant32 more days.
LafayetteParticipantChristine is a very passionate writer and many mellenheads enjoy her blogs. I’ve been lax in that department. My wrist sidelined me and I never got back in the groove. Will have to change that, although I, for the most part, just regurgitate news featured on JM’s site.
LafayetteParticipantThanks, Paul, for the clarification! I made the correction.
LafayetteParticipantGreat recap, TonyG! Funny too, in a twisted sort of way…the power of that nicotine. Thank goodness my addiction, at present and as long as I can remember, is chocolate.
I saw some awesome footage of BS. Enjoy!
LafayetteParticipantI’m logging this show into the setlistfm archive. Could anyone tell me if there was an encore or where the encore started with the posted set list?
LafayetteParticipantWelcome and thanks for sharing your Lu experience!
LafayetteParticipant1. Hard Time Killing Floor Blues
2. Angel
3. God Don’t Never Change
4. Nothin’
5. Ode To Billie JoeLafayetteParticipantI just checked too, punch!
The crowd was feeling “Where Is My Love”…and so was I!
Thanks for uploading!

The show is at the Chumash Indian Casino, which is this ridiculous cement montrosity smack in the middle of peaceful, buccolic Santa Ynez. Wineries abound.
I did not attend the concert of which you speak. Maybe I will charge the stage for Lyle Lovett.
I have actually never seen either of these gentlemen. I am going as a guest of someone who is a fan.
I saw Lyle a few years ago with his Big Band. k.d. Lang opened and I have to say, I enjoyed k.d. more so than I did Lyle, however, it seems Lyle & John Hiatt are great touring buds. Should be a good show. Be sure to have someone take pics of you crashing stage.
LafayetteParticipantThis looked (and sounded) like an amazing show. I hope “Where Is My Love” makes an appearance.
