Added additional St. Louis show per Lu’s official FB page.
LafayetteParticipantI’m loving ‘chatty’ Lu, schooling us in Luology.
Thanks for the reports, stoger!

I like her take on Concrete and Barbed Wire… I always appreciate seeing a song in a new light.
Agreed, especially if one knows Lu’s back story of the song.
LafayetteParticipantLucky you and thanks for the report!

There will only be two more added to this run:
5/9 — Albany (The Egg)
5/10 – Boston (Berklee School Of Music Auditorium)Then on to SF for the 4 shows with Roseanne and Emmylou.
And those will be the last shows until late July early Aug because we gotta go home and get to work on the next record,OH, heck yes (on the record)!!! Thanks for the show info!
LafayetteParticipantHappy to post these dates!
I just heard a promo spot on WNKU 89.7 (Cincinnati area) for the Dayton, OH show! They have satellite stations in the Dayton area.
Unfortunately, and so heart breaking, WNKU, a public radio AAA format station, was no longer viable for it’s benefactor, Northern Ky. University, and the station was sold to a Christian Broadcast network. They are still on the air as WNKU, and the final air date has not been announced, but I imagine it will be soon. This area is going to lose such a treasure for the arts and culture so dear to many of us. 🙁

LafayetteParticipantSeriously, how could one even think to ask someone at a concert to not ‘lean’ in their seat??
Ruth Eckerd Hall is a sterile environment, in and of itself. I saw JM there several years ago.
LafayetteParticipantWAHOOOO!!! Lucinda is playing a show in Dayton, OH – a 45 minute drive from home, and I won’t be on vacation this time!! 😀
I will highlight, in color, new show adds to the Spring Tour 2017 itinerary.

Maybe the same pairing when the tour gets to Nash on the 26th of March, Lafayette?
It looks as though Jennifer is a one off. I’m posting her tour schedule below. It looks as though she stays local (she lives near Annapolis). I wonder if Kasey is pulling local talent at each of her stops?

LafayetteParticipantA gal I met at a bar, Jennifer Van Meter-White, a singer songwriter, after a Farm Aid show a few years ago is opening for Kasey at Rams Head in Annapolis on March 22. She is thrilled, as you can imagine.
I learned from that night at the bar, babbling as i usually do after a few drinks, 😀 is a huge Lucinda fan and also admired Miller Williams as well. It’s a long story but she has one of Miller’s books, autographed, and considers it one of her cherished possessions. She is beautiful in person and spirit.
