ParticipantAnd, an after thought, after reading the notes from the Atlanta set list.
The intimate setting description of this St. Louis show at the museum reminded me of the Stuart Opera House show in Nelsonville, OH I attended 6 years ago with Lu solo acoustic. Lu has played there since then as full band, several times.
Here is my recording of “Memphis Pearl’ from that show.

ParticipantI think these photos were taken after we moved off the rail, stoger.
This was my second St. Louis ‘The Pageant” show to see Lu. I love this place. I was so happy to see the stage floor was not configured with seating, as my ticket in hand was showing I would be sitting in the second row, center section. Only one complaint, they juked us on the “No pictures, no videotaping per request of the artist.” I was told this at the box office and also going thru a security check.” I should have been a “Rebel, Rebel” and not followed the media rules put forth. TO verified it was not their request.
Thanks for the report, stoger! I’ll cover the Dayton show.

ParticipantI so love these reports. I wish I could follow the tour bus from town to town, every show unique.
Here is “Envy The Wind’ with Amos Lee from the WFUV benefit show in NYC last late November. Viv and I attended this show. Amazing.

ParticipantThanks for posting. I was also looking for info on Lu and couldn’t find a thing. I was able to watch a great fan video of Mellencamp’s performance.

ParticipantI was able to listen to this show on Lightning 100, per a message tip from TNT.
I never took the time to give Kasey a listen, even though many of my FF members have raved about her. She is amazing. Entertaining. Great improv. Beautiful voice.
I found this interview posted several years ago. Perhaps many of you know the ‘fingernail polish remover’ story, but I’m going to copy and paste, just the same. Kasey really does love our Lu.
