Shazaam. Lu is playing The Space in Evanston. Awesome club – I saw Chuck Prophet with The Dunwells opening this past summer with my brother.
LafayetteParticipantYesss! Louisville is calling my name. Looks like it will bump the Birmingham trip. 🙁
LafayetteParticipantGreat report! Have you come back to earth yet?

JTE sings a duet with Wanda Jackson, “Am I Even A Memory”…

A Lucinda connect-the-dots – the song was written by Greg Garing. Greg and Lucinda were featured in Bill Rouda’s book on the revitalization of lower Broadway in Nashville.

Now we need to work on Lafayette – a long drive for her, but perhaps she can be persuaded… ❓
Tom
I could possibly be persuaded. 8) It’s been far too long since the four horsemen rode side by side.
I was quite surprised to see driving distance to Birmingham is almost the same as to Atlanta. 😮
I am actually looking at the NYC show on Dec 5, if I can find a room using points and can book a flight using miles.
LafayetteParticipantOh, happy days!
My road trips have been nil to none for several months. No JM [exception was Farm Aid], no Lu, no Amos.
LafayetteParticipantGreat reports! I love road trip ‘diary entries’ or for the gents, perhaps ‘journal entries?’
LafayetteParticipantI love ‘Inside Job’ updates. I, unfortunately, missed the debut but was reading great things about the show on the web.
LafayetteParticipantNo problem musiclover, I’m glad you enjoyed them!
lwj – No, my friend is not smitten with Troye. Nada. 😀
LafayetteParticipantLafayetteParticipantWe had a great time, as usual. As far as cameras go, it looked as though they were focusing on different areas of the crowd, no where near me. I was in the 8th row, center, but I think next year I will just try my luck for tickets through the regular channels, be where they may. The VIP seats are nice but the price increased this past year and they have passed my cap limit plus not too impressed with the VIP extras. Each year the experience is a little more diminished.
We didn’t make it to the chocolate factory. We tried but I did some volunteer stuff on Friday and Saturday. We did some pre show & after show dinner/drinks, and brunch the day after show – lots of socializing meant less time to be a tourist.
LafayetteParticipantLooked like an incredible show!

Whoa. I just got my copy today. The reviews I have read say the songs are great and his voice has never been worse.
You always make me 😆
LafayetteParticipantOne day I am going to make a trip out WEST. This weekend is not in the cards for me. Will have to live vicariously through the road crew.
LafayetteParticipantAlways love the inside info, TO!
