Just curious… does anyone know which “Greenville” the song refers to? North Carolina? South Carolina? Other?

Mississippi I believe, though I’d like to think it’s my home state’s Green[e]ville, birthplace of our illustrious 17th president.

Mississippi, indeed (and I always assumed is was North Carolina). That query, and many more, are answered in the following videotaped interview “Overheard with Lucinda Williams.”

lwj, I didn’t make it last Friday to Angela’s CD release show — weather related — too much snow. I have plans to see her in Cincinnati in a few weeks.

I’m going to see David Crosby at the Troubadour the night of the Echoplex show. I expect to see most of the other shows.

P.S. Now I see that I am going to see Amos Lee at the Wiltern on the night of the Pomona show. 😳

Quite the conundrum. How often, though, do you get to an Amos Lee show? I haven’t checked the geography. You could race over after Amos’s show for a few brewskies with the gang?

This event looks amazing! The cost of the packages? Truly a fundraiser. The prices are way out of my league.

Has anyone been to Blackberry Farms before? I’ve seen photos and video clips. The place looks amazing ~ will be a nice little weekend for Lu & TO.

Cool little blog regarding a fan, in attendance at one of the two Haw River shows, regarding a voice mail congratulating her as the Carrboro Poet Laureate, with mentions of growing up in Arkansas and living next door to Miller Williams.
