Add Variety Playhouse in Atlanta May 28 and May 29. It’s not up on their website, yet. I saw it via twitter. Just announced minutes ago.

There was an update posted on start time of this show. (What was original? I haven’t been keeping up with the specifics of this show). It appears Lu will be playing a one hour fifteen minute time slot. See info:

Niagara Falls will not work for me, lwj with 4th of July weekend. I’m planning on the Windsor show.

As a heads up, this is a greatest hits show, and if you want to spend your dollars wisely, I would wait for JM until next year. However, if you’re interested in seeing JM and can make it to Windsor, there is a good possibility my better half wil be at that show.

Oh, it could be a reunion of sorts, West Words. I love the Orange Peel, too.

Heads up on new policy. The Orange Peel now offers a VIP experience which includes early entry for VIP members and their guest. Memberships are sold on a monthly basis. More info on the website.

Is the Orange Peel on your itinerary, stoger? I’m looking long and hard at that one, dependent on proximity of yet-to-be announced shows.

This sounds like a show not to have been missed. Holly is amazing. I saw her in Feb in Cincinnati open for Jason Isbell at Taft Theatre – an amazing room with great acoustics. She was fabulous. I’m loving Annie Clements on bass as well. She also tours with Amos Lee with Annie returning to the Taft a few weeks ago with Amos.

We have plans to go to Nashville for a few days over spring break, family get away. Holly recently opened up another business in Nashville, White’s Mercantile, and I have a visit penciled in, if I can get away from the boys.

The Hb’s are attending quite a few festivals this year plus a return to Europe in May, but alas none so far as Ontario or upstate NY.
However Lafayette may jot down on her calendar July 11-13, 2014 in Cincinnati, OH for the Bunbury Festival

July could be a very busy month for Lafayette. 😀

Lafayette, since I’m a senior citizen I’m sure I’m mature, so give me a clue as to who might post or if you care not to divulge it on the FF send me a PM. 😆

“Mature Audience” is in reference to ratings given to shows (and video games) for content.

    You’re still cool, lwj.

I’ll also note I am now able to order from the senior portion of Perkin’s menu. Yes, indeed. 👿

I was trying to be clever with my former post – looks to be somewhat of a fail. 😯

Disclaimer: possible MA post to follow, although something tells me it won’t offend most here in the FF.

Following was tweeted after the Echoplex show. I nominate this as best tweet of the year:

“if you didn’t get laid after that show, do not blame lucinda williams. lucinda williams did all she could for you.” 😆

In addition to a multitude of accolades on twitter for Lu after this episode aired, an upload of the song on YouTube from 2011 is showing recent activity from the show as well. It makes me wonder if there was an uptick in downloads on iTunes. Social media, sometimes, it’s a good thing.
