LafayetteParticipantOne thing is for certain – I learn something every now and then in the FF. For one, French words…
So, the million dollar question is… Did Lu venture into the bathroom at the Stone Pony or take her tour manager’s advice? 😛
LafayetteParticipantJM is releasing “Trouble No More” recorded live in NYC at Town Hall in 2003. “Lafayette” is included in the track listing. Releases on July 8. USA Today premiered one of the tracks, “John The Revelator.”

LafayetteParticipantThis is a full format musical, no film involved, and the house band several of JM’s backing band, including Andy York, Jon E. Gee, Dane Clark, and Troye Kinnett.
The production, at least the last time I saw it, has been scaled back with the format of an old radio play. The story is moved by the songs, not by the characters.

Not sure if the ticket price to “Ghost Brothers of Darkland County” are too steep for your pocketbook, however, I highly recommend seeing this show. It makes its way to Massey Hall in Toronto.
Spectacular production.

Glad y’all had a good time and thanks for the report!
Hopefully, you remained on your feet and no drinks were spilled. 😮
LafayetteParticipantIncredible version of “Factory!”
The link for the video was tweeted out by Backstreets Magazine. A nice little nod to Lu.
LafayetteParticipantAgreed, stoger. Has a nice hook, too, of the ear worm variety.
I’m hearing it now, over and over…
LafayetteParticipantHello exclamation marks!
“I Envy The Wind” and “Steal Your Love???” She should have dropped the mic after those two gems. 😀

LafayetteParticipantlwj, those responses were made RE: an event listing created for Westhampton Beach, NY. There have been no follow up responses RE: the Toronto show. Keep your fingers crossed!
