    Great report, Viv!

Stoger, Lu and I were talking Old Gringos at the Lexington show, while you were nabbing the set list for me. 😀 Lu was admiring my boots and I told her, very proudly, I was rocking those boots because of her collection. Ha, I even showed her the sole of the boot with the Old Gringo stamped logo. I believe she has at least two pair she has worn on stage, with one being the black pair with the silver studs all over.

I’m looking forward to Nashville. The Three Amigos united, once again, Lillie Mae sitting in with KBB and last, but not least, Lucinda and company melting the faces off the masses. Life is good.

    Thanks, lefty!

Perhaps one day our worlds will collide at a Lu show. I’ve yet to meet tonyg as well. I think I just initiated a “Attend show with FF Members” bucket list.

A few embellishments to stoger’s report.

The Opera House was quite the venue – ornate and very charming with wonderful acoustics.

I advise one to not order Merlot from the bar for a pre-show drink. I think Bota Box wine would score better. The company was good, though.

No fist fights or shouting matches with drunk patrons, no tripping down steps with drinks, no candle wax all over the front of me – it was a ‘five out of five stars’ night.

I had a lump in my throat during “Bus To Baton Rouge” – gorgeous.

Lu and the band were very tight. An amazing show. We are so very fortunate she is still writing, recording, and touring.

Lu and Stuart stopped in at KXT in Dallas, per facebook. Songs played were Stand Right, This Old Heartache, When I Look At The World and Lake Charles.
