I would bet my bottom dollar on that guess…

The NPR station I listen to played 2 Cool 2 Be Forgotten this morning and the host then gave a shout out about Lucinda appearing on Letterman tonight.

The New York show is not sold out.

There most likely will be two Minneapolis shows at First Ave, the first on Sept 23 the plan is to play Little Honey from top to bottom for the set and to webcast the audio. The second show on Nov. 5 will be the first one back after a short break.

    Now, that is awesome.

Welcome and thank you for the post, especially knowing you found Lu through the summer tour! Imagine that.

I’m a newbie but feel comfortable enough telling you the songs you are wanting to hear are on her upcoming release “Lil Honey”, slated for an Oct 14 release. Hope that helps.

Also, she is touring behind the record, be sure to check the “shows” link for Sept and October.

    Interesting. Why eleven?

I just checked the show list on the site and noticed no support act is listed for all shows starting Sept 29. Is this an oversight or is a different support act TBA?

ALSO, the BuY link is up but tix aren’t available for a few shows, one being Columbus, OH. Did I miss a presale or are they just not available or are presale sold out?

I saw a flashdrive ad while on facebook today advertising the same thing! It came and went faster than I could click on the page and I didn’t stay on long enough to wait for it to loop.

I’ve been looking too for the Nashville show. I’m still trying to sort out how ALL the shows are sold. Columbus or Nashville are the two that are closest to me.

I also just checked the playlist of the NPR radio station I listen to and they also played “Real Love” today as well. Has LH officially gone out to radio?

I heard “Real Love” today on World Cafe along with a plug for “Little Honey”. Sounded GREAT!

Looks like they are coming to my neck of the woods at Southgate House in Newport. Thanks for the info!

I found “Long Way To The Top” where part of the audience is seen jamming at this show. Go to the 3:22 mark. Lu, band, and guests were rocking! LU herself was REALLY jamming on this song. It’s great.

I can be the female voice weighing in here.

My first Lu show was the John Mellencamp show in Milwaukee at Summerfest. I witnessed two false starts, an abandoning of the song, along with apologies, among other instances that made me feel like I was at a rehearsal and not a concert . I later read the circumstances behind what I had witnessed on stage that night (no rehearsal time, missed flights, etc.). I have to say I have NEVER witnessed anything like it before (not that I’m a seasoned music fan attending many many shows but I have been going to concerts for many years now) and I am sure it has happened/happens with countless musicians. It was distracting for me, though, to sit through Lu’s set that night. I honestly thought she was going to walk off the stage at one point. HOWEVER, I gave her another shot ( I already had tickets) and the remaining 4 times I saw her were absolutely stellar. They were near perfect. Prompt start times and the music flowed. After joining this forum, I have come to understand the things that happens while she is on stage and can accept that now that I know. It’s LU, right? HOWEVER, for someone seeing her for a first time, and witnessing uncharacteristic behavior on stage from a seasoned professional musician, well those in attendance might not be so forgiving IMHO.

It is interesting, I think, audience takes on shows compared to what the die-hard fans see which leads me to this blog I found on the Radio City show ( I was even more interested in finding something on this since “The Heartless Bastards” are Cincinnati based). Not sure if this was ever posted before or not, it’s a fairly long blog with video clips from the show. He never mentions the blurb about the couple leaving so apparently it didn’t disturb him.

Thx for the link Tim. What version of Car Wheels is playing when you go to that site?

In the upper left hand corner is a player loaded with songs spanning her career. You can click manually through. When I opened the link, a song from upcoming record was playing.

Oops, my bad, it was “Righteously” that was playing…
