Thank you, WEBMASTA, for the clarification!

I have seen several tweets from twitters that are ecstatic she has an account. One proclaiming they weren’t worthy to follow her 😆

Twitter, IMHO, is just a great avenue, personal and/or professional, for garnering more fans. It’s a good thing. It’s fun. It’s informative.

    Hell, yeah!

My favorite Lu tweet over the past few days (other than punchdrunklove’s proclamation CWOAGR is a song that makes you want to take your clothes off 😀 ) is this…

svnk: Great festival. I was suprised how amazing lucinda williams was. Next stop isis. I better bring my earplugs #Roskilde

It’s what makes you happy, so yes, lovelier than an autograph. Actually, it’s very cool!

I have found a free website translator for foreign languages. Very easy to use since I am now following you.

Well, stoger, I confess – not to sending you that message, of course, but to the fact that I went (i.e., to the Twitter link Lafayette posted above), and yet I still do not get it. Three messages were displayed there, none of which made any sense to me. Maybe it’s a generational mental block or something similar that I suffer from?

    Tom

I can fill you in tnt. I’m guessing “lucinda” did a search and saw a post from semionato . She made an @ reply to him/her asking what language did they speak ( that reply goes back to that particular twitterer.) He then made an @ reply back to her, and in turn, she responded “very funny” to something that only she can see in her @reply inbox from semionato. Apparently, semionato is from Brazil and tweets about Lu daily. Very big fan. Right, semionato ? Oh, he speaks Portuguese and very bad English. Yes, I learned this by going back and forth on his twitter account.

Stoger, a change may be a comin’ for you. Personally, it looks legit to me. The account name “happywoman9” convinced me. I am following her and will report back if continued posts convince me even more.

Here is information listed on her account. See what you think. HA, I love the “location” response.

    Name Lucinda Williams
Location When Not On Tour…Los Angeles

I’m hoping the Chicago shows work out.

That Oct 1 date in Red Bank is killing me. My good friend lives in Red Bank, however, a forthcoming concert announcement on July 16 shoots that date down for me.

I definitely need another Lu show this fall.

Great reports Stoger. I hope you are going to Europe otherwise we are in big trouble. You should be our imbedded reporter over there too.

I tried to get tickets to the Greek Theater Elvis Costello show on 8/18 but by the end of the first day only nosebleed seats were available so I passed.

You’re not giving up,are you? I assume tickets could be released before show.

Stevarino, Lu played the perfect version, her version for that particular night, and I will have to call that as best song of the tour 🙂 followed by “Mama, You Sweet.”

There will be more Lu shows. You made the best choice.

If “Wishes Were Horses”!!??! Did TNT change his call on best song of the tour with this setlist?

Stoger, I am so glad you will be over in Europe for the tour, hoping you have some type of internet access to keep us informed. Seriously, I so look forward to your reports, actually, everyone’s reports.

Smokin Joe, if you private message me, I can hook you up with a Lu poster. BTW, you don’t, by chance, twitter? 😆 I saw a profile page that looks a lot like you, tweeting about this show…

Good article Lafayette. Except for this:

She reached back again for a rousing, rocking version of her cover of Emmylou’s “Crescent City” (originally on the ’88 record),

So Lucinda is covering EmmyLou’s Crescent City now eh? Must be a different song.
    🙄

That threw me, too, maybe it was brain freeze from the ice cream.
