Hey, Lafayette, I’m new to this cyber age: how does one send or receive a “subliminal” text message as opposed to any other kind? Maybe I’m just the kind of guy who can’t pick up on subliminal communiques in face to face talks, but this notion of cybersubliminality has me scratching my head.

Subliminal in that I was receiving lyrics as she was singing “Joy” and then an “Oh, wow, an AC/DC song.”
My friend enjoyed the show, warts and all.

    Thanks, TO, you’re the best!

stoger, you may be new to cyber age…however, major props to you on your texting initiatives.

Thanks, Nelson! The last three songs I’m almost certain I can attest were “Honey Bee” “Joy” and “Long Way To The Top”…I had a phone call during “Honey Bee” and was texted subliminal messages during “Joy” and “Long Way.”

    Does that ring a bell?

    Welcome, billk!

Could you provide some details about the setlist, what songs did she sing and what were the highlights of the show for you?

Disco Stu and stoger…I’ll be seeing you on night #2 🙂 in Chicago, with my brother in tow. Child sitting issues has me making my quick return home. I’m counting the days, believe me. If anyone is interested in one ticket for Chicago on Oct. 15, I will sell for cost. PM me.

Thanks for your insights for night #3 TNT. Sounds like you and Sarah had a grand time. Wish Willie Nile had hit the stage. As you may recall, we were just talking about him at the wedding 😉

If Wishes Could Be Granted…a special wink to TNT on Atonement?

Looking over the setlist for West has me especially green. I had purchased a ticket for the Chicago version of this show, but sadly, cannot stay the 2 days I had planned.

For all that cannot make it to Lu’s NYC shows, and you would love to catch NEIL! live from Farm Aid today (tonight), Oct 4, there are several options listed on Farm Aid website (DirectTV link, FA website link and XM link.)

    http://www.farmaid.org/site/c.qlI5IhNVJsE/b.5489901/k.9706/Watch_the_Concert.htm

NEIL! performs after John Mellencamp and before Willie Nelson, to keep it in perspective for you if you just want to tune in to catch his performance.

Apparently, I logged in, via hotel lobby (I’m in St. Louis for Farm Aid show today), at just the right time! No special guests stopped in? I hope Lu doesn’t cross “Lafayette” off the setlist if she ended up abandoning it last night.

Thanks for the report, stoger, and looking forward to additional color commentary on the night’s events.

I had already tried finding information on “Factory Blues” from the last show when she covered it. I think TNT and I are from the same mold 🙂 I wasn’t sure, without hearing lyrics, if I was on the right track. My initial findings had “Steppenwolf” covering this???

To all in NYC, have fun and keep us posted!

Oops 😳 Shows you what I know. Amos Lee is covering Fred Neil…not NEIL!
