I just want to say I love this woman…with fans requests in mind 😀 This particular post on Lu’s FB page elicited MANY responses, very cool to see.

Love seeing a Lefty response in the JM thread, annual response or no.

I haven’t seen this review yet so thank you for posting. “No Better Than This” releases today, I think to mostly positive accolades, and he has been #1 on Americana Music Chart for past two weeks.

I was hoping to be in LA TODAY at a JM event at the grammy museum, I had a last minute ticket offer come my way from a friend who had won a pair of tickets. I had further plans to see Lu tomorrow in Saratoga. I just couldn’t justify the cost with other events I have on the docket.

Thanks for the lift. JM hits the road in late October, and I am happy to report I scored a front row center seat at the Ryman in November. I have high hopes this will be THE JM show to see, he lengthens his show and mixes up the songs.

I’ll give you a report and let you know if it’s worth another trip to see JM in Detroit. Scoring tickets close to showtime is always an option. It’s one I use when I’m not emotionally involved with the artist.

I see Amos as one of your top 5 is going to Farm Aid this year.
    Lucky, lucky you.

ALL of my JM friends know I have been wishing on a star that Amos would be added to Farm Aid lineup. I had high hopes with him opening a few dates for Dave Matthews (since it seems many artists are invited by the Farm Aid board. i.e. Willie, John, Neil, Dave).

I had text messages and friends IM me with the news that Amos was in lineup. I have house guests this week, my sister visiting from LA with her sons. I screeched (much like I did when I saw Lu was opening for JM in 2008) out loud, when i read the news, with everyone still asleep. My sister heard me…upstairs from where I was sitting.

I am a happy Farm Aid camper.

I agree on “I Just Wanted To See You So Bad” as another song that could be hummed all day.

Lucinda is taking song requests for the West Coast shows on her facebook page. Head over there and put your request in. I’m in awe. How many artists try to put together a setlist using’s fans requests?

Oh, how I wish i was headed “West” next week.

I love that song as well, Lefty. Your inference may very well make that the “Lucinda Song Of The Day” on CB’s song loop running through her head.

Excellent report, lwj. A 2 hour free concert? 62 years old? I need to sent your testimonial to JM 😆 .

Also, according to a Rolling Stone interview, show is SUPPOSE to be 2 hours long. 30 minutes stripped down acoustic with band, 30 minutes solo acoustic, an hour rocking at the end.

I’m not holding my breath. JM hasn’t done a 2 hour show post heart attack (’93), but it could be promising.
