ParticipantThanks, Viv, for this spectacular show report! I have little to add as you captured the spirit of the entire evening. Amos and Lu are an ethereal sonic match . No words on how beautiful “I Envy The Wind” sounded. I love LOVE the respect and admiration the both of them have for the other.
My thanks, to you, Viv, for meeting me in the Big Apple for such an outstanding evening of music and shenanigans. 😉
I wish I could travel to more shows than I do, but thankful for the ones I can attend.

Able to purchase Fillmore(s), Seattle and Portland(s) !!Friendly Forum Fan Fanatics for the WIN!
So happy it worked for you, SSM!
I found the presale password for the WFUV show in NYC on November 30 by searching twitter. WFUV had posted it last year but not this year (that I could find). I used last year’s password but changed the year to 2016 (which was part of the password) and BOOM!, I was in. I love when that happens. 😀
Enjoy your shows, West Coasters! Long overdue, as I recall.

Anyone know the password for the Artist presale that starts tomorrow (Thurs) for Seattle???
I looked on twitter and tried googling for you. Nada.
I did see one presale code for The Troubadour was Highway20. You could try that…
EDIT to add…I see Paul and I think along the same lines on presale passwords. I hope it works, Viv!

For those who rue the words “no upcoming shows scheduled” on this Forum, here is a brief encourager. See also Tom’s latest words under the Evanston thread!

9 JoyThe president of the AMA was literally at the feet of Lu throughout, sitting in front of the first standing “row” in tiny Grimey’s Record Store. I’m thinking a couple (maybe three) hundred total, hard to tell. I got a good angle stage right/back. Thanks to AMA and Grimey’s for this. Paul, maybe you can fill us in on some Australian alternate entertainment. What a week/weekend!
Also, a post was made on Lu’s FB page. Someone was asking about FL dates (I believe) and the reply was Lu would be making her way there in February and March, announcement possibly on Monday. *disclosure* this is not verbatim and I had read it after traveling 800+ miles for a 2 day Amos Lee road trip, and a few glasses of wine…However, another disclosure, it was not Italian wine like some in this FF are indulging.
BTW, TO, Fred Berman sends greets to Lu. We’re going to attempt to attend a Lu show together at some point. 😀

ParticipantThanks for the reports, stoger and paul! I love this FF keeps all of us living vicariously through you, posted and updated.
Lafayette
ParticipantJealous on your desert trip!
FA was mind boggling, and I much preferred this year’s set list choice over last.
My friend was in the photo pit, a huge Neil Young fan, and she could not believe he performed “Powderfinger.” Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real are pretty awesome, too!
Lafayette
ParticipantHave I ever mentioned how much I love this FF?? 😀
Welcome aboard, backstreets, AKA ‘Mike from Iowa.” The Boss always puts on a good show, always, except for that Tom Joad period, IMHO. 😮
Anyway, hope you can score a seat to this recent show addition!

ParticipantNeil and Lukas Nelson and POTR blew minds and melted faces with their Farm Aid set this past Saturday. U N B E L I E V A B L E!
Enjoy your floor seat!
Keep on Rockin’ In the Free World.

ParticipantOh, how I wish I could have been sitting in Row M…:D
Looking forward to the Windy City in Dec !

ParticipantI watched the awards show, last night, all 3 1/2+ hours, via an NPR live stream, walking around the kitchen with my ipad and earphones while making dinner, cleaning up the mess, and various additional domestic chores. 😀
Incredible show, one amazing artist after another.
Lu didn’t make an appearance until the later in the evening. She accepted the President’s Award, honoring Woody Guthrie, on behalf and request of Norah Guthrie, who could not attend.
She performed an incredibly beautiful rendition of “Dust’ with Stuart Mathis and the house band, prior to announcing Artist of the Year.
