Yes, cannot agree more, the band were a really awesome. and the sound was as good as I have ever heard. Her voice was spellbinding at times. The venue really impressed me. I will attend again now I know, preferably for a LW show as she was so impressed by it too.
As for the beer I did not even bother. Having come from a real ale pub with my mate Bob and having drunk a gorgeous Yorkshire ale I was not even tempted by the pitiful stuff on offer, in plastic galsses, Yuk! And I dread to think how much too?

I’m in total agreement. What a great gig. Scorching band and Lu in a really happy mood. Loved the set. She played almost everything I wanted to hear (Crescent City would have made it nigh on perfect).
The venue was pretty good. I’m not too sure about the Marquee comparison, except maybe for the atmosphere. Great sound and good sight lines. I wasn’t drinking so can’t comment on the beer, but one of my mates said the Guinness he bought was the worst one he’s ever drunk.

Yes, noted the faux pas in previous message. But easy to be mesmerised by such a great gig. Must point out you missed out Riders on the storm from end of first set before the break..Wow! it was pleasure to hear that.
Unfortunately had to leave to catch the coach back to Bristol and missed the last 2 numbers, shame as had been waiting to hear Unsuffer me all night. But hey! she palyed so many of my real faves…roll on the next tour…will make sure I miss none of it..

You got Flaming Lips from its frontman, who wrote the lyrics to “Marching the Hate Machines Into the Sun,” which Lucinda acknowledged and performed. “Virginia’s own” Devon Sproule (from Charlottesville) also had a UK-based pedal steel player for most of the songs; I look forward to her again tonight. The complete set list. . .
