Think most of the ‘wanted Hillary, will vote Palin’ vein is just planted by conservatives aiming to undermine/put into question the smallest possibly imagined crack they may see in the Obama/Biden ticket. Mention it enough;it becomes true. That’s been the Bush folks’ philosophy from day one. So, question all you hear, especially seeming nonsensical ideas like that. They are so desperate; they will do much more of this in the next 2 months. Question everything! And, don’t let them pull another one over on us! This former female Hillary supporter most definitely will not vote for a retro-woman like Palin. UGH! Repulsed at the mention. 🙄
Ready to see Lucinda in Knoxville next week! YAY!

Thanks to all for helping me decide. At this point, we’ll probably see her in Knoxville….3.5 hrs. Not a bad drive, and the venue does look nice. We will be rockin’ for sure, knoxville newbie 😉 . K

Thanks for the quick reply. But, I am mobility-impaired: I’ve had to use a cane since an MVA; I sometimes use a wheelchair depending on ease of access. Must admit, I got great positioning at Atlanta Botanical with the wheelchair, but most places I can get to with a cane. Obviously, I don’t stand well for long periods. Does that mean I should scratch the Nashville show off my list? ❓
[Know I should’ve remembered to mentioned this issue in my first post. I prefer to think of myself as invincible. 🙄 Yet, I am getting older, a wee more forgetful! 😉 ]

It was swelter-weather in ATL; naked would not have been cool enough. Yes, Lu was p.o.’ed a little to begin with, but did groove as the night progressed. She emotes in her music b/c she emotes in her daily life. Give her a break. Talented, thought-provoking gifted folks are finer-tuned and, -moody b/c of that. I’ve seen her 3 times in Nashville-2004, Northampton, MA-2007, and now ATL. All great shows…none of the others did she get irritated. Everybody gets that way sometime. Absolutely identify with her terrific, consitently extraordinarily empathetic lyrics and emotive music style. Pettibone’s great at interpreting her stuff!
