Hello to everybody.
Yes it was a nice show.
Arrived @ 7:30 pm & just get the only free parking place in front of the entrance door 8)
seated with my 2 bro in the left balcony in this place called alhambra (firts time in this small club, all places are seated places 😕 kind weird coz i like to “dance” like as was in a disco club during sketchy/rock tracks)Lu seems to be more at ease than the last show in Paris (trabendo) & she kicks out this place 😀
What’s about the after show?any people taking pictures with Lu & autographing stuff…

i stopped listenin to chuck since “age of miracles ” record (to GoR since scapegoats record but bought bbc sessions last year) 😳
didn’t know that he gonna tour in europe(gonna check if there is a Paris’s gig), last time he played guitar for Calvin russel’s tour in France & miss that gig 😥 …Go & buy some GoR records ,u won’t be disappointed.(Hardly recommanded for Lu’s Fans too 😉 )
Hello to green on Red ‘s Fans 😉
Green on Red was one of my favourite band in late 80’s.
i discovered them with record “Here come’s the snake” (their best record as far as i’m concerned with “This time around” & no free lunch) & nearly got all cds from the band & members solo’s project (chris cacavas,chuck prophet,dan stuart)
I bought last year Green on red-bbc sessions
There is an japan greatest hits of Green on red with 2cds set, 2nd cd a live that i hardly recommand if u have tou buy a “best of”i recently listened to a chuck prophet’s gig & it was a little bit “boring”

Listening to home made compilation of early records of JOE ELY 🙂 today… & a home made compilation from HEART @ a friend shop where crowdy people passing by…sometimes, when i put some Lu’s tunes 8) (acting as a part time dj 😆 playing alls kind of music from pop/rock music to dance music(house from spanish djs…)) , a lot of people ask for the name of the artist?
at my level & with my own media, i’m trying to get Lucinda williams most popular to the regular french crowd 8)Cracker > rock band with a taste of country.

For ryan adams, i did not enjoy him very much even though i got nearly all his records….he got nice tunes but too many records 😆 …MARY GAUTHIER :she Rulz! i have to tell that @ a time i enjoyed far more MARY than LU ( 😳 not the best place to say this kind off stuff 😆 if u r more in intimacy tune…)

i’ve just listened to 2 “home made” compilations of Lu during my ride with my car (only 1 track from record Ramblin:jambalaya & one for WEST:fancy funeral for my 2 compilations…) & as far as i am concerned, i have to admit that i am among people that enjoy MORE LU in CAr wheels’ s phasis & before.
it reminds me that i forgot to ask for some country tunes when she played in paris 😥 (Louisiana Man, one night stand …)

The report from the Crew (Thank u Mr Karel BEER :wink:, the gentleman who introduced LU b4 she went on stage & made a speech @ the end of the show ) that brought Lu to Paris if u want to know “things behind the scene” ; Yep, wot a story full of “humanity” ! Yes, Lu, it’s good to see that u overcame all these trouble, u too r terrible 😆

did this purchase by chance & @ first listening fell in love with her songs 8) :it’s wot i was searching for many years through us music…Essence *** Recommended
world without tears ** did not enjoy this album @ the beginning , sold it & re bought it 2 years later 😆

whoahh!!! 😀& Lucky u are Jimmyjazz to met Lu, i wanted to to do the same stuff (autographed the booklets of Lu’s cds in my jacket’s pocket :cry:, have a hug, take a picture but not a big deal:NEXT TIME when she be back 😀 ) but did not coz my legs in a mess (i should not go to a rock concert as i go to a disco club 😆 ) & i was starving 😳
I got feedbacks from the promoter …not gonna tell more (all in french words) but we get lucky to attend to this show 😆 thanks to the support of the crowd at the begin of this show.300/400 people…

Ola Jimmijazz, think i heard some spanish words (ur girlfriend?) behind my back (women voice) but it doesn’t bother me coz it was not during the songs…
It’s good to see that this show brought some people from europe.
Next time , u come to Paris to see LU, I ‘m gonna order u some house cds from spanish dj 😆 (private joke:beatfreak records’s cds, matinée group cds 8) )
