Lucinda and her band were great. She started out with these slow sensual songs and I actually heard a song bird become so inspired, it sang with her. No lie. Her voice was amazing in the first part of the set and I feel that was worth it all. As far as the Pink Floyd thug? The guy was an ass and the other people pushing for more hard-core music probably upset her. It upset me and I was just in the audience. So she gave him a tongue lashing, big whoop and good for her to stick up for herself and her band. I remember seeing The Who in the Garden and someone pitched a bottle on stage and Pete Townsend stopped the song and berated the guy (who was eventually thrown out) and then they went on as if nothing happened. Pete used some pretty colorful expletives on him that made Lu sound like Mother Terese. All in all, she was amazing and I saw a legend. Her band was the bomb. I’d see again in a heartbeat.
