That might make Nashville more difficult -but PM me when you decide and if we can– because sometimes it depends on the venue – we will make sure you are taken care of. Just give me at least 24 hrs notice.
Impossible to say for sure but I would think that a Saturday night in Nashville right after the new record comes out might be a good bet. I’ve heard that the War Memorial is a beautiful place. It is non-seated venue if you prefer that.
She is doing Montreal and Toronto in Oct. and probably doing Winnipeg, Cagary, Edmonton and Vancouver in early Nov.
In regards to Baltimore its hard to say at this point -the very loose plan is to start up again late Jan. in the SW and go thru Texas and east thru the south to the places we are missing this year and up the east coast. But that is very much just an early rough plan.
Ironically enough she duets with Susan Marshall (who appears on Little Honey) on Don’t Let Me Down, on Susan’s upcoming new record.
They will probably be some of the first shows of ’09. The very loose plan for ’09 is to start in the SW and straight across thru Texas and anywhere else we missed in that are this year. But that’s just a drawing board plan right now and that would probably start mid to late Jan. at the earliest.
I would lay very good odds that we will play Charlottesville in ’09. It was one of the best audiences she had on the West tour.
Unfortunately they won’t. We had an offer for DC right before NY but we couldn’t take it because she got an offer to do the Letterman show on 10/2. But we will be out again after the first of the year because there are lot of markets we are missing on this swing– Baltimore, DC, Philadelphia, Atanta, Texas and many more. We could be back out as soon as mid-Jan.
