Great show. Mostly rockers with the exception of the new stuff – I believe there were 6 songs from Blessed and they were very well received. Val did a super job. Unsuffer Me was the only song that seemed to almost go off the rails – it sounded like everyone was playing in different time, There will always be other songs you want to hear but I was happy to hear everything played. I thought For What It’s Worth was a timely closer and the crowd was really into it. Like others have said, the sound was great, and that’s not always the case at the Count Basie.
