GrumpyMamaParticipant
I watched the pilot online the other night. Good music with a nice touch of old school night time soap drama. I must admit, though, I’m a Connie B. fan. And as Tom mentioned Bitter Memory is not in the pilot episode. There is a scene, however, reminiscent of Lu when the lead character has issue with the sound during rehearsal. 😮
GrumpyMamaParticipantDamn. I was supposed to have been there. This is why I’m grumpy… 👿
GrumpyMamaParticipantLineup announcement late last night.

Ticket on sale date Sept 14.GrumpyMamaParticipantThanks for starting the separate thread Tony. I am really wanting to get up there for this, but I can only commit to my usual well-intentioned-maybe status (as dictated by the crisis du jour and ongoing grumpy moniker). That said, we can discuss locally further options and info and keep working on stoger…
GrumpyMamaParticipantHA! perhaps a west coast gathering of the friendly forum? I’ve not been to the Bridge School Benefit in the past but have always wanted to go. And of course, Shoreline is an old favorite venue of this deadhead girl – many fond, yet foggy, memories. hahaha
GrumpyMamaParticipantWow, sounds like the set was smokin’. wish I coulda been there.
GrumpyMamaParticipantThat was so sweet. Wish I had seen it on mother’s day; it would have made me a little less grumpy, hahaha
GrumpyMamaParticipantmake that TWO zillion dollars, hahaha
GrumpyMamaParticipantAnyone interested in going in on a table at the HMML show?
PM me in the next hour if you are interested.GrumpyMamaParticipant@West Words wrote:

I love that fan story and associated quote and have shamelessly used it to get service at bars and clubs 😮
GrumpyMamaParticipanthi all,
I haven’t figured out where I’m going to park yet nor have I figured out what time I’ll be arriving (I’m still up here in the 805). I’ll try my best to join you all before the show, currently looks like Sepi’s. Sorry I couldn’t have hosted something earlier but if anyone needs a place to crash after the show, let me know.GrumpyMamaParticipantWow tonyg, nothing here but the sound of crickets? I’ll be there for sure as only a catyclysmic event would keep me from attending. I swung by the box office on Monday and upgraded my previous VIP tix to Dinner VIP (thanks to stoger for making me aware of the added third tier). I have several friends who are also dining with me, should be 8 of us.
Also, here’s a local interview from Bill Locey;in particular my attention was grabbed when Lucinda is describes her fanbase and mentions fans who bring their 9 year old daughters. Hahaha, guilty party here as stoger and west words can attest to from the Fillmore shows. My girl will not be at the Ventura show as it’s a school nite, but Friday’s Royce Hall show is most likely.
GrumpyMamaParticipantDang! Again I missed “I ain’t got no home” live… Thanks for the shout out stoger; it was fun driving via the 5 through my old stomping grounds. Safe travels north and catch ya in Ventura.
