I don’t find it strange at all that you love Lucinda Williams and Led Zeppelin.

    Not strange at all!

Blues and Rock are Soul Mates.

Both Lucinda Williams and Led Zeppelin are riffed with blues – which by the way is probably why her music (along with her lyrics and voice) appeal to me so much.

I’m also a Neil Young fan from way back.

    Great topic!

Since then I have bought all her CDs, been to see her approx. 8 to 10 times (first time – 9/8/01 – can hardly forget, given the events that would unfold a few days later…), and she is unquestionably my favorite artist (I do have an admitted eclectic taste – I also love Led Zeppelin, so go figure!).

My favorite version of Change the Locks is on the Live album from the ‘Car Wheels on a Gravel Road’ – Deluxe Edition.
