    Tim,
You just made my day. Nothing personal, but I’m thrilled to see a different drummer. Bring on Toronto and Buffalo!

I’ve Lost It… I agree, give me the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, or HOB in Cleveland. With that being said, The Egg is aptly named. Little over 900 seating cap. built for sound, great acoustics.
I entered the Egg hoping for a few more” Lu on acoustic” songs, and exited extremely satisfied.
From the first note of Rescue, to the closing note of West, it was one of “those” nights for me. THAT VOICE in that room… words fail.
I was mildly concerned when they came out of the gate repeating the first 4 songs from Northampton. But all that melted away when Lu introduced Car Wheels, and just like that we were off down that gravel road.
I got my hands on the original setlist, and much to my delight realized how much she mixed it up… always a good thing in my opinion.
I forget the order, but Pineola, Jailhouse Tears, Fancy Funeral, Overtime, Drunken Angel, and I Lost It, were not on the original list.
Sorry I’m rambling… I thought it was a great show, and I met David in the elavator before the show to boot.
ps I am sold on him as Lu’s bass player.
pss West was a stunning, shimmering, beautiful closer.

My two cents… take what you need and leave the rest.
Northampton- loved the town, loved the venue, loved the show.
    Highlights(subjective of course)
Rescue is a nice get under your skin, invitational, come into my world opener.
Out of Touch- Dougie’s solo was scorching, Lu expressed her appreciation
    afterwards.
Bleeding Fingers… rocked the house. New band showing promise, however, I still stuggle with Heffington’s pace and “feel” on some tunes.
Still I Long… personal request that Lu responded to. I’ve heard better renderings, but it still made my night. Bus to BR would have put over the top for me.
Wrap… I would rather have a different show closer; nevertheless, it was great to see Lu smiling and dancing.
all in all, a good show that definitely wet my appetite for Albany.

WEST Upon hearing it for the first time, my initial response is…
… we’re off to a good start, with Fancy Funeral as the stand out.
… reserve judgement until I EXPERIENCE them LIVE
Unsuffer Me, Come On, and Wrap My Head…
The rest of the cd… is growing “in” me.
Looking forward to North Hampton, Albany, Toronto, and Buffalo.
