Tom,
Thank you for the dates. Is Rochester truly the last stop before Australia? Should I expect more shows west of Rochester? Or, should I break the news to my wife that I will be hittin’ the road mid-March?fuji81ParticipantI’m with you stella. That x-factor is not there every night, but when it is, there is nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile… I miss Jerry. Thank you Lucinda for helping to fill that musical void. Your voice touches my soul, your lyrics speak into my life, your music is a gift to me. Thank you for touring the way you do. Rest up and bring on that 30th anniversary tour!!! Let there be songs to fill the air… peace
fuji81ParticipantColor me jealous. Please consider this “no repeats” format when you come back East!!! Love the recent setlists, great mix of old/new/ballad/rock/stone country/blues…it’s all Lu, and it’s all good. Three cheers for a great 30th anniversary.
fuji81ParticipantThis is a must have! Great quality video/audio. The songs are classic, the vocals are prime, and the band is spot on. The whole show is fabulous, but I personally feel that things really start to heat up with Price To Pay>Disgusted. Great harmony vocals during Something About What Happens When We Talk. Kisses and Locks build to a smokin’ Happy Woman Blues. Love Gurf on guitar and backup vocals, but my vote for MVP goes to John “Juke” Logan on harmonica. That guy can BLOW!!! On a side note, you gotta love those 80’s shoulder pads.
fuji81ParticipantTom,
Congratulations, 30 years is quite an accomplishment!
My 2 cents…
1) chronological setlist…8
2) split sets…10 YES!
3) multiple nights…10
4) album shows…10 especially if they are within a reasonable drive from Buffalo!! Toronto??
5) don’t change… 7 I try to catch a handful of shows every tour, so I would love to see more variety within the setlists. I’ve noticed Lu mixes it up more and more as the tour rolls on, this is a good thing. My dream show would be 1st set acoustic, and 2nd set electric. Best of both worlds.General Stuff
1) credit at merch…8 only because I already have the merch.
2) fan club… 9 see below.
3) buy tickets before general public… 10
4) more live releases… 10 YES!!! I would prefer cd to digital. Personal request, Cleveland solo acoustic with Doug. I think it was March of 06. I’m sure there are many gems, old and new. Please consider releasing them in some way, shape, or form.
5) Buffalo… on your way to the make-up date in Rochester.
6) You guys have my vote. I appreciate all you have done, and are doing. Keep up the great work. 2009 is going to be a year to remember.fuji81ParticipantI am a cheerleader! Give me an L…
fuji81ParticipantTom,
It being an election year, I don’t pay much attention to polls. That being said, my vote goes to the standing GA down front/seats up top venues. Example: Grassroots Festival vs Albany at the Egg. Both were great shows, but the energy and vibe at Grassroots(GA standing with bleachers in back)was off the charts compared to the “opera” crowd at Albany. Staying seated for the whole show and giving up a golf clap after Honey Bee… I realize that some of us are getting up there in age(me included), but staying seated for the whole show, I don’t get it. Just my opinion, for what it’s worth.
On a side note, thank you and everyone involved with last nights webcast. Christmas come early for Lu fans. Perhaps I need to rethink my stance? I do believe that I remained in my seat throughout the entire webcast. Keep up the good work, it is greatly appreciated.
peacefuji81ParticipantThanks for the reply. I appreciate all you do; like the audio webcast on the 23rd of October.
fuji81ParticipantHey tntracy,
“maybe it was two fans fighting over wether or not Lu should play more “old stuff” this tour.” THAT is funny. I got my Side of the Road in Albany. Life in LuLand is good.fuji81ParticipantI realize that my chances of hearing any of the a fore mentioned songs are slim to none. All I ask(selfishly, I admit), is for the band and Lu to consider mixing up the set lists. Especially, for the encores. I’ll have a great time at the shows either way. Looking forward to the fabulous sound in the Egg.
Come on and give me…
fuji81ParticipantGREAT NEWS!!! Keep stuff like that coming. Thanks Tom, and everyone else involved in releasing these gems.

Sorry, wrong thread. I can’t help it, I’m a big fan. Side note, my wifes’ birthday is today(43), we’ve been together since the 11th grade. We have 4 grown children, and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Oh yeah, in order to get back on the same thread, my wife is not a Lucinda fan, but she gives me the green light to go to as many shows I can. Life is good, and Lucindas’ music is a gift. Thank You, and Good Day.
fuji81ParticipantHey Inside, that solo tour with Doug had some magical moments. Love Buick 6, but there is something about that stripped down, naked approach that moves me every time. If you have anything from that tour in the archives, I would love to see it released in one form or another.
fuji81ParticipantThanks augwest. I love my Lucinda best, more than my wine.
fuji81ParticipantSteal Your Love…BONUS. Interesting discussion on this board lately. All I know is that I’m glad I stumbled across Lucinda’s music a few years ago. Count me in as one of your fanatics. The bus came by, and I got on. You can drive however you want, I’m a passenger for life. Bring on Albany, Toronto, and Rochester.
