    TO,
Thank you, for getting back to us with the info… I’m in for Toronto, but have my fingers crossed for a show in Buffalo/Rochester area. Bummer about Val not being along for the ride, but I heard this Doug Pettibone guy is pretty good. Either way, I’m sure you will come up with a great band. Have a nice day, and keep up the good work. I appreciate all your efforts.

    TO,
Awesome news about the Toronto shows. Will it be a traditional 45-60 minute opening set? Levon is great, but I would love to see a bit more Lu.

Thank you, for all the reports. TO, please release these shows in some way…someday. They remind me of the acoustic shows w/Doug in 2006. Precious memories.

Beautiful weather for an outdoor show. Her encore…From Hank to Hendrix, was worth the price of admission. Great version.

    TO,
Thanks for the updates. Happy trails to Eric and Chet… thanks for the memories. Glad to hear Butch and David are still on the bus. I heard a guitar player a few years back, thought he was pretty good. I think his name was Doug Pettibone. Enjoy your Summer.

TO…thank you, for throwing us a bone. With a new record on the horizon, surely a new tour is not far behind…? Thank God, for the Neil Young solo show coming to town. That should hold me over for awhile.
With that being said, to my ears… there is nothing like hearing Lu “bring it” live. Looking forward to new Lu.

    TO,
I appreciate your fast response. Be sure to thank Lu and the boys, for the gift that was last years tour. I for one, hope to see the same line-up next time around. Enjoy the break from the road, and may 2010 bring many strong, and healthy newborns into this sweet old world.

    Second Set

Chet added some wonderful fills and color on the keys during “Learning How To Live”. Great version. “Unsuffer Me” breathed fire as usual, with Lu digging deep, bent knee and head back belting it out. Primal.
“West”, was well done, with Lu in the “zone”. Made me want to come out West and see… pure bliss.
“Well Well Well was fun, with Chet and Eric trading tasty licks. Smokin’ version of “Real Love”, brought the crowd to life. During “Honey Bee” some people(myself included)couldn’t sit any longer, David’s bass line all but demanded us to get off our ass, and have some fun. Sure, you can have fun on your ass, but come on…this isn’t a night at the opera. “Long Way To The Top” had Buick6 kicking it into high gear during the closing jam…smiles all around, with Lu clapping her hands, and dancing. It must have been contagious, by the end of the show everyone was on their feet, getting their Joy back!
