Special shows indeed. Congratulations on a fabulous solo acoustic run. Now, let there be rock! If Ann Arbor’s Joy was any indication, I do believe that Lu is primed to hook up with the band in Toronto, and crank it up to 11.
On a side note… have you ever considered an album of Delta Blues covers? Lu’s smokin’ hot version of Down the Big Road Blues from the other night was one of the many highlights.ps…Thank you, for all you do.
Blessed
fuji81ParticipantThey announced that the show was being video taped…future release TO?
fuji81ParticipantThank you for responding. From what I have heard, your right about the “fit” thing. It’s good to know that the song won’t die on the vine.
fuji81ParticipantWhy didn’t the song Port Arthur make the cut? Just curious… sounded great to my ears. Nevertheless, looking forward to March 1st. It’s been a long cold winter in Western New York, hoping March comes in like a lamb.
fuji81ParticipantBest $18.00 I’ve spent in a long time. Saw him, and his tremendous backup players last night in Buffalo. If your thinking about going to see him, think no longer… First song played over the PA after the fabulous opening act(Jessica Lea Mayfield)…2kool2be4gotten…Bonus!
fuji81ParticipantLW
Thanks for the link. Crank it up to 11!!! Sounds great, can’t wait to hear the entire record. Did I mention how excited I am about having Val on this tour…YES.fuji81ParticipantWow! That makes the $57.25 I paid quite a bargain.
fuji81ParticipantTO
Gracious, but unnecessary…the presale was posted well in advance for all to see. I wasn’t going to make the trip, but tix were so easy to get (thanks to your presale), I couldn’t resist. See you on tour.fuji81ParticipantThanks for the update TO. Great news in my opinion. To my ears, Val has great feel and tone…he can lay it down with a slow burn, he can rip it up and blow the roof off the joint. Works for me. Rock solid combo of Butch and David+Val+Lu= one happy cheerleader.
fuji81Participanttry…honey, it worked for me
fuji81ParticipantYES! Erie, PA… Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.
fuji81ParticipantI’m in…Balcony for Toronto, so I figured up close for Ithaca. Orchestra Center A 109
What I’m really holding out hope for, is a solo acoustic show somewhere along the way.fuji81ParticipantWow, now that’s a lineup I would travel to see. Any word on the band for this East coast swing? Other dates between Toronto>New York? If not, I must break the news to my lovely wife about a trip to NYC in March… perhaps a few Furthur shows along the way.
fuji81ParticipantFinally got a chance to hear this show… Lucinda in fine voice, and Doug with some sweet acoustic guitar. Joy, however brief, is a real treat. Love the full band, but Lu and Doug solo acoustic is something special.
fuji81ParticipantSpeaking of 3 more new dates…
Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse???
Surely, one of the three is a possibility on your way from Toronto to NYC. If not, 2 opening sets in Toronto will do just fine. On a side note; any word on the band for this tour? Looking forward to the latest incarnation. -
