p.s. According to Blue Door ticket policy they encourage young musicians to attend shows. My 18 y.o. nephew lives with me and attends UCO-ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music). I’ll bring him IF that helps US get in the shows. Thanks!

This is a L – O – N – G shot, but I could use a little help (from above?) to score at least one (1) ticket that is wheelchair accessible. Of course, I’m a greedy, gluttonous pig and would like to attend any and all shows.

This is funny. I just posted a setlist and and review, which was supposed to be short. HA! I missed Drunken Angel … I think it got skipped and I forgot Car Wheels … when typing, but remeber it now. It must have been when the gay girls were having the cat fight.

O.K. folks you have two setlists now ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

If I can attach a pic I show what I saw on the way to the “Ballroom”. What am I thinking … something about big balls in cowtown ๐Ÿ˜†

Well, hell that didn’t work. I may try again this w/e to attach a pic.

Oh BTW Thanks to Inside Job and Tom Overby (sp?). It’s really great to know some of what is happening, which is very uncommon for Neil Young fans.

John Mellencamp is not as bad as you might think. I had tix given to me a couple years back for a show in OKC and I was pleasently surprised. It didn’t hurt that the tix were 1st row, BUT way off to the side, but still!

I am VERY EXCITED to have found out that LW is out on the road again. I need to get my rear in gear and get tix, but like most shows at larger venue I’ll be f*#ed to tears, because wheelchair seating is *usually* in a galaxy, far, far away from the stage.

Great news aboutthe new album and tour late in the year. Don’t forget us on Oklahoma. I know we’re a secondary market, but we’ll still give you praise, applause and $$$.

Did I read the other day that the song titles, etc should be available when I put the CD in my computer and use Windows Media Player? So far, three out of five from El Rey have not produced any song titles.

    Thanks,

I think I may have heard it one of the first times it was played. That was in Tulsa at The Cain’s Ballroom … uh, that was March or April of 2007. Lucinda made it sound like she decided to play it right then and there.

I enjoyed it very much. After the show I told one of the sound guys (Jim?) that I liked it quite a lot and he almost sounded surprised that I liked it or maybe it was that she played it.

I know it’s not been perfect- (I was not happy that the LA sleeves were a bit tight, but I think we got it fixed for NY), but considering everything I think its been a great experiment and hopefully it will lead to more. Thanks again.

Tight” is almost an understatement. I felt like a crack fiend ๐Ÿ˜ˆ trying to get into those SOBs. Actually, had to set the CD case down on the table, take about 6-7 deep breaths and go at it a little slower. I’m glad I was sober when I was opening them or I might have shredded them sleeves to ribbons.

Great job to all those involved. Sounds like it was a taxing issue, especially being on a different continent. I look forward (fingers crossed) to set II being available someday.

True or False? The CDs being sold are set I only. If itโ€™s for the whole show this is a helluva deal!

O.K., I read some more and I probably read it yesterday, but was too excited. I see the CDs are set I only not the whole show.

I have onother question. Why wasn’t West done in it’s entirety? It’s an excellent album. Possibly my fav along w/ Car Wheels.

Greetings ๐Ÿ™‚ This is my first post to the board … so, I’m not a virgin any longer ๐Ÿ™‚ WOOHOO!!!

I’ve tried to look at some posts regarding the El Rey & Town hall shows / CDs, but may have missed the question and answer I am about to ask.

Yesterday, I was thrilled, dare I say bubbling over, of the existence of the LA & NYC shows. When I read about these shows, then saw the setlists (I & II), well, I have to admit my pants got a little tight (BOING!). Then, today, as I read more and I came back into the stratosphere I began to wonder if the CDs were only set I and not the whole show.

True or False? The CDs being sold are set I only. If itโ€™s for the whole show this is a helluva deal!

    Thanks,
