Thanks Lafayette, watched it last night, do not think it is a programme I would watch every day, but really
enjoyed Angela and the band, just wish they would tour over here sometime.dr winston oboogieParticipant@Lafayette wrote:

“Yesssss, we have next year to look forward to doing it all again!”
Can you expand on this please !!!!!!
I must have had too much to drink when I posted this, I surely can’t blame it on autocorrect…. 😳 😯
I meant to say we have THIS year to look forward to doing it all again.
TRANSLATION: Several of the Friendly Forum attended the AMA awards ceremony in 2010 (I can’t believe it’s been 5 years!) and with Lu receiving multiple nominations, I have a feeling it could be another mega showing in Nashville by the FF. 😀
Thank you, I think !!! 😉 was hoping for news about futute Europe dates.
dr winston oboogieParticipantLafayette,
“Yesssss, we have next year to look forward to doing it all again!”
Can you expand on this please !!!!!!
dr winston oboogieParticipantCheers TomO, I know we can rely on you to keep us updated and it means a lot to us.
Rest assured that whenever you can make it happen, we will be right there, god willing.
dr winston oboogieParticipantIf Europe is not going to happen this year, it is obviously VERY disappointing.
However, thanks Stoger, I have been eagerly waiting for some news and as time has gone on with no news
I began to fear the worst, the upside is that I can now begin to schedule my time off for this year now as I had been hanging on for some confirmed dates from Tom/Lu and as time passed the choices available to me were getting less and less. But please do not be strangers for too long.
dr winston oboogieParticipantAs always thanks Paul, really top notch set list as far as I am concerned….
7 into 8 is just concert going heaven, would take that at any show,
the rest only make it into the tremendous category.dr winston oboogieParticipantSo sorry to hear that, my thoughts are with you and yours at this difficult time, stay strong, sadly although you know it is coming it is still very hard when the inevitable happens, I tried to console myself by remembering that he had a good and rewarding life, but mostly by knowing that he was at last free of pain and suffering. All you can do is make that landing as good and comfortable as you possibly can, best wishes from us all.
dr winston oboogieParticipantThanks Lefty, once again a great article, the part anout the length of Miller`s suffering especially touched a nerve, as my father had a garage/workshop and spent all his time in there making and fixing things, sadly he died of cancer one October, but for the last six months he was unable to work in his garage and I always said that really he died in March/April, just so sad to see people slipping slowly away like that.
dr winston oboogieParticipantThanks guys sounds like a great time was had by all, so envious…
The Troubadour is certainly one on my wish list.

How about another headline spot at Southern Fried, Perth?
Excellent idea, would certainly want some of that.

It won’t be May/June –we are hoping for July/Aug -basically we want to get over there asap but Europe requires a lot more lead time than the US.
Great news, thanks TomO, looks like a Lucinda summer vaction this year, hopefully you can give us maximun lead time to get things booked up ASAP.
dr winston oboogieParticipantYes indeed,A very happy birthday Lucinda, and may you have many more of them.
Love, Peace and Revolution….(Unfortunately we messed up the Independence part). 🙄
dr winston oboogieParticipantThank you yet again LWjetta, just listened and enjoyed, what a pity he did not ask about a European tour this year.!!!!! 😉

This may have been posted earlier elsewhere…
Such sad news about LU`s dad, our thoughts are with Lucinda and all her family at this time.
Superb read Lefty, and this final sentence at the end from her Dad really hit home..”What most deeply touches me in your songs is the fact that what they say is not really about you, but about the listener; this is what makes them so important to those who hear them.”
Must be a great comfort to Lucinda at this diffficult time, and something wonderful to look back on in future years and make her so proud.dr winston oboogieParticipantMerry Christmas to Lucinda, Tom and all fellow fans, just spent a great day by a roaring log fire, really hope everyone else had a great Christmas, and yes hopefully during next year we can get to sample those amazing shows of the recent months.
