    1) Shows that would have a chronological setlist like the second set of the first show in Mpls or the show in Madison 1 I like the way Lu changes her set list during the show, makes it more personal.

    2) Shows that would have split sets -with the first set being ballads etc, a break, and then the second set being rock 1 I like it being mixed up.

    3) Similar to number 2– in larger cities where we could do it or where the right venue exists–doing two nights, with the first night being the ballads etc and the second night more rock 1 I can’t afford two shows.

    4) Closing the year with a return of the album shows -probably only in one city 8

    5) Don’t change anything -I like the shows as they are. 10

In a different and more general category:
    1) To offset the venues that charge Ticketmaster fees -we are considering offering those fees back as a credit at the merch table -does this have appeal 10 This a great idea!

    2) Being aware of the past fan club fiasco- does a fan club hold any appeal if it made sense and had value? 10

    3) The possibility of being able to buy tickets before the general public -(possibly as part of a fan club?) 10

    4) More live releases -(possibly as part of a fan club?) 10
    4a) Digital only
    4b) Prefer cd–yes

    5) What cities have we missed? Keep coming to Kansas City!

    6) And last but not least, what did I miss? I wish LU in 80 was available as a cd as well as the other “rare” songs. Keep up the great work. This is a great forum and site!

    ParkerCA,
I’ve really debated whether or not to go to the Uptown show. It’s one of the worst venues in KC since they “remodeled” it. It was an awesome venue when it had cocktail tables. I did consider driving to St. Louis for the show at the Pageant but can’t swing it. I’m going to skip the Uptown show but I did buy the the five El Rey discs. Between them and Little Honey I’ve almost o.d.’d on Lu! Are you going to the KC show?

I just received Little Honey from Amazon. There was no mention of the download songs with the order, are they going to be available later?? I thought when I placed the advance order the download songs would be free.

I just joined the Lu forum. I’ve been a fan for a long time and I don’t think West came out of my studio stereo for a month. Just before it was released a friend called and said that my old girlfriend was very sick and probably not going to live much longer. He was right. I’m an artist and did a new piece (screen print) to work through this tough time. It’s one of my favorites and I titled it “Blue”. “Are You Alright” really blew me away – it was perfect for the way I was feeling. The point of all this is that I decided to send one of these screen prints to Lu. I’ve never done anything like that. I contacted her manager in Nashville and he told me to send it to him and he would get it to her. I really wasn’t expecting anything but I never did hear from her or her manager except for an email saying he had received the package.

That was a great story about the Wichita show. I would have driven from KC in a heartbeat to have seen that.
