Oh, and here’s the Onion’s AV Club review (B)… Love the site, tho the “commentators” can be real jackasses, sometimes hilariously. BTW, there, I’m Drinky the Drunk Guy, not Django.

Wow, thanks for the shots. We were upstairs, so appreciate this closeup perspective!

As for getting to hear some of the older tunes, I’m especially thankful for Lucinda playing “Side of the Road”, which had somehow fell out of my mental Lucinda loop. That one just kills me, it’ll yank a tear out every damned time!

Wow!! Lucinda was sure right about the room sounding great. Just an amazing show, so personal and so purely focused on her amazing sounds!! Thanks for the set list too. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of rockers she played, too!

Cool, thanks for sharing! I’d almost forgotten about the Aquarium Drunkard site, and need to revisit!

Thanks for the info, Tom (Mr. Moderator!)

We are *stoked* for the show. I always love hearing her band shredding things up, but, yeah, a solo acoustic gig in a “theatre” setting sounds way more personal! I’ve only seen Lu 2X before, and the first time was back in Aught-2 at the Austin City Limits festival and I was like a quartermile away from her!

I can’t guarantee we’ll be at the Video Saloon before the show, as we have a 2.5 hr drive (and a 1 hr time difference) coming from Central IL after I leave work at 4, but that’s where we’ll be afterwards, most likely on the pool tables or the pinball machine (which is hopefully still there, haven’t been in a year or so).

It’s *not* a fancy place (upstairs in a big, sprawling old building), but we always have a good time when we’re there. I’ve got nerd glasses and a longish, getting-whitish goatee, and Goldie has some crazy curly hair… we’re pretty easy to spot! Say “hey” if you see us around, and thanks again!
