Members’ priority booking opens: Thu 28 Feb, 7.30am
General booking opens: Fri 8 Mar, 9amAs paul_from_losangeles has pointed out several concert listings for Europe 2013, does this mean we will get on the scene reporting as we did from Europe 2009 ?
stoger, are you also going across the pond like in 2009 ?
I have counted 31 concerts from May 12th thru June 29 for this year as compared to only 20 in 2009.
The Brighton Dome ( capacity 1,900 ) may well be the oldest concert hall Lucinda has ever appeared in (constructed in 1805)
I have visited Brighton many years ago, a nice seaside resort town. The Dome and the Royal Pavilion are all inter-connected by tunnels.
lwjThe Dome is a lovely venue seen plenty of artists there Steve Earle, Richard Hawley, Gillian Welch there is a smaller venue called the Corn Exchange which is smaller seen two bands there Calexico and Iron and Wine.
DesolationRowParticipantIts a lot to ask Tom but every time you read of Lucinda working on a new record there are always reportedly lots of songs that never make the record she is working on . I did read of at least 30 songs written for West hence Little Honey came fairly soon after but is there enough fan base or recordings to warrant similar releases such as Dylan’s Bootleg Series which highlight lost songs.
DesolationRowParticipantIm sure its nice but we are after european dates luv

DesolationRowParticipantTom, Any idea of when a European tour might happen? Im particularly hopeful Lucinda might play Brighton in England.
Also I read that there were a lot of songs written for “West” that werent used on that record, While some might have been used on “Little Honey” or the new album, an idea I had going on in my mind is that if there are unreleased songs lying about that are damn good but might never be heard by us has it ever occured to use them in a similar way to how lost Dylan treasures have turned up on the Bootleg Series.
It seems Lucinda writes pretty prolifically and any lost songs might be of interest to us her fans. 😀 -
