Let’s do this Tom. Charleston, short drive down the road….follow the bus back home for a Monday night show in Savannah! Get a chance to show many of my friends the artist that I am impassioned about.

You’re not slow, dariusjag. The message to which you refer was posted by a promoter who has worked &, apparently, is still working with TOverby on shows in the Southeast. For some reason, he is posting personal messages to TOverby here in the forum using terms only Tom can apparently understand. (Yes, many of us have been “guilty” of posting personal messages before, but not exclusively…)

The bottom line, in my humble & unsolicited opinion, is to look to Mr. Overby alone for definitive news on shows. He has in the past been very forthcoming (witness the announcement of unconfirmed shows in this thread) & I have no reason to expect that to change in the foreseeable future… 😉

    Tom

P.S. May I make a suggestion, HighMaintenance2099? Please post private messages to TOverby as a “PM” (Private Message). To do so, click his user name to the right of any of his posts, then click the “Send private message” link under “CONTACT TOVERBY”. Thank you.

Thanks Tom it all makes sense now!

As for “central Georgia” venues, how about Lucinda herself on the grounds of Andalusia, Flannery O’Connor’s former home in Milledgeville? In light of Lu having mentioned “chasing peacocks” round that farmhouse as a child, I say bring her back lo these decades later for an Andalusia fundraiser!

How about South Ga.. After all Savannah is the proud birth place of Ms O’Connor!! And we LOVE Lucinda!!

Thanks for the great write up Tom! Reading your review was like living the night over again!
I told everyone that the Atlanta show was a special night and right after the show I told them that this show was as good (or not better) than Atlanta. Thanks for verifying my perception!

What a blessing to be able to travel and see LU in so many different venues. I have to pick and choose based on proximity and available time off. Will you be attending in Macon?

Not sure the part about active military is accurate. Zack Brown band just played Fort Stewart and it was free and open to the public but I suppose this could have been different.

I’ve always quite enjoyed Sweet Side. I distinctly remember listening to the album with headphones on while enjoying a few cocktails and really digging the groove. 🙂
