nice show from last April posted at the Traders Den tonight.
i listened to it a few hours ago.
planning on seeing Hayes Friday night at Cain’s Ballroom and (i hope with) Travis Linville and the rest of the band
(Gulf Coast Orchestra) that was with him on that show from N Charleston, South Carolina.we finally saw a CP show in Kansas City at Knucklehead’s a few years ago. cool place.
too bad Stephanie wasn’t with them, but that gives me an excuse to go see
him agian. He signed my ‘bobby fuller died for you sins’ cd,
he is one badass guitar slinger.i saw Tony Joe White (rip) 50 years ago, at G Rollie White basketball court Texas A&M Univ,
he might have had a drummer, but i do remember a foot operated tambourine.
he played Rainy Night, Polk Salad, Scratch my Back, Boom Boom, and several of his other originals.
Great Show! he may have opened for Seals and Crofts, but i’m not positive.
probably gonna see Hayes Carll friday night coming up at Cain’s Ballroom where i’ve seen Lucinda a couple of times.
looking forward to seeing her again sometime.
