Jackson Browne has been added to the March 10 blowout tribute concert to folk hero Woody Guthrie at Brady Theater, 105 W. Brady St.

Browne joins Guthrie’s son Arlo Guthrie and John Mellencamp, Rosanne Cash, Del McCoury Band, The Flaming Lips, Old Crow Medicine Show, Hanson, Tim O’Brien and Jimmy LaFave for the “This Land Is Your Land: The Woody Guthrie Centennial Celebration Concert.”

The singer-songwriter has sold more than 17 million albums in the United States, and he’s written hits that include “Running On Empty,” “Lawyers in Love,” “Doctor My Eyes,” “Somebody’s Baby” and more. He is a 2004 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The concert is all-ages. Tickets are $45-$250, plus fees, and available at Reasor’s locations, Starship and Buy for Less; by calling 866-977-6849; or online at tulsaworld.com/brady Doors open 6:30 p.m., show time is 7:30 p.m.

Plus, read Sunday’s Tulsa World for more interviews, history and background on the influential folk singer and songwriter from Okemah. This year would have been his 100th birthday. He died in 1967.

yes, i got some tickets. they were 90 each, not bad.
the museum exhibit should be good, but if its far, the hotels and meals and travel add up fast.
there will eventually be a Woody G museum in Tulsa after the centennial tour ends, so maybe you can see the exhibit later on anyway.

i’ve seen this for sale recently. may have been at Grady’s Record Refuge in Ventura.
i think it was at a great price.
also he had Dylan’s biograph on vinyl for 20 bucks in a big box set, one of the last tracks on one disk looked scratched.
i picked up a big box biograph set of cassettes, cassettes never played, still wrapped in the original plastic… 6 bucks.
