hi ronny, you sound like a real lucinda hound. i have most of her commercial stuff, too. i’ve seen her twice, once in 2003 and then last year. both great shows.

i’m new to Chuck P after just hearing his recent interview on NPR which got me interested.
there is a live concert of his at NPR.org you can listen to online which is pretty good. i just picked up his most recent 3 albums as listed, gonna get a couple Red on Green disks soon, i’ll let you know about them.
he was with them before he went solo…

i think he died last month, 2007. Larry King had Graham Nash and Joe Walsh on to talk about Fogelberg. they were very sad to see him pass, i surmised from the interview he got diagnosed late maybe because he was afraid or didn’t trust someone. i liked what songs of his i heard on the radio, especially Language of Love. brilliant.

i thought the ACL taping was pretty good. while i don’t think she does her best work for television, i didn’t really notice her overdoing looking at her notes… maybe she’s excited and uses the notes as a security blanket? i don’t think it’s a big deal myself and i can’t see why some people are so offended by it. i thought the NY shows got better as they went on from WWT to LW. i can’t say how she looked as i wasn’t there but i thought she looked pretty fine on the ACL show

what does hack me off is all these attempts necessary to log in and to post this little rant on the site

i can’t believe these people bitching about her reading from lyric sheets. who cares? if she want to do it, what business is it of yours? if you don’t like it, close your eyes and listen to what’s being communicated. that’s what its all about. she ain’t up there to dance around a pole for you

the ventures have done alot of good stuff, as have Herb Alpert and the TJ Brass, and hopefully they are in too. the hall of shame label still applies to one great guitar player – Johnny Winter, who, in his prime, could play rings around anybody
    PUT JOHNNY IN !!!
